I agree about Toy Story 3. It was much better than 2, but 1 is so far ahead of them that it's silly

The Incinerator scene is by far the best scene in all 3 films and puts it over the top for me.

As far as Up!, it isn't my favorite, but the greater story isn't a bunch of nonsensical things happening, it is about a guy chasing the white whale. But realizes he already had it all along. Pretty amazing story IMO. I think it is the best movie Pixar has done. Not my favorite, but the best.

WALL-E is probably Pixar's second best movie. And my second favorite behind Incredibles.

All 3 Toy Story movies are incredible. The incinerator, Buzz being Spanish, Jesse's Song was gut wrenching in #2. They all stand apart well as separate movies.

Toy Story 3 was basically a rehash of Toy Story 2 and not anywhere close to being the best animated film released that year.

Not only was it the best animated film of the year but it should have won best picture. Absolutely fantastic movie.

I don't get all the love for Toy Story 3- it sucked arse in comparison to the first two, especially TS1. As for the claim of it it being the best overall picture, get your head out of your arse.

I simply don't understand all the affection for Up. I've never seen more people talk about how much they love the first ten minutes of a movie, but then never talk about how the rest of the film was a mess of non-sensical, ridiculous proportions. In fact, no one ever talks about anything but the first ten minutes of the film. It's like the other 80 minutes don't exist.

Up is my favorite Pixar movie and it really isn't even close.

I think it works as a more cynical commentary on how the older generation is imposing its will by co-opting the younger generation into going along with its hairbrained and expensive pipe dreams, but I literally yelled "Oh, come on!" in the theater when the dogs started flying planes

Oh, you're a troll. Got it.

The only nominated movie that you can argue was better than TS3 is The King's Speech. As much as I liked The King's Speech I would still put Toy Story 3 ahead of it.

The Kings Speech
The Fighter
Black Swan
Inception
The Kids Are All Right
127 Hours
The Social Network
True Grit
Toy Story 3
Winter's Bone.

Well said, but it's my favorite. It's certainly the best "film" they've done, not necessarily the best animated film that they've done.

But like a lot of underappreciated animated movies it takes a very mythic concept and boils it down to the essence for children. Just so well done.

If you didn't like Wall-E and Toy Story 3, I'm certain I hate you.

That Brave could have gone several different, more interesting directions; however, it's about a princess and her mother that has been turned into a bear.

Wall-E has to be in the top 20 greatest films.

Entire first half of the movie has zero dialog and it keeps me riveted every time.

Name a movie were more than the first 30 minutes has no talking and is worth a shite.

That's a good point. Besides him watching Bye Bye Birdie (?), there is nothing else.

I would say your opinion is consistent, although you have expectations, if it weren't for your like of HTTYD. Although I thought WALL-E was Pixar's most ambitious effort, I can understand if it wasn't your cup of tea. But HTTYD in comparison to most of the Pixar movies?

I wonder what Pixar will come out with next?

With that said, I wish with Cars 2...they would've picked up where the first one ended.

I'm a huge fan of all those. Films, but lets admit it that those films were very much allowed to made those days.
