Is Modern Family worth watching?

I had good advice on Party Down from the board. But isn't MF an ABC product? How can it possibly be good? The wife wants to give it a shot.

Myself, I've only seen a couple of episodes and thought it was good. I know many others that watch it though and they all love it.

she is the reason I started watching because I was channel surfing one night. Glad I stopped because it is a funny show.

Actually funny. I don't usually enjoy a lot of the popular comedy shows like The Office (I know blasphemy for many here) but I really enjoy this one.

The show has a heart. About the only thing that might annoy you is the sometimes over the top nature of Phil. Just about all the behavior is normal and not over the top.
Just watch an episode or two Jersey. I think you will like it based on your reviews about other shows.

It's the best comedy on the broadcast networks, hands down.
