Why does he cast her at all? It's obviously very distracting to include her in anything. Casting should never be distracting and she's prime distracting.
He either is trying to do woke appeal, which is strange because he never really did that much in his career but all the black washing would also indicate this.
Or he's doing it as a personal favor to her, maybe they are good friends from inception or whatever.
