The first two episodes of Fear TWD this season have been better than anything I’ve seen from the original show in a good while. It’s finally becoming a decent show. The World Beyond is terrible though.

Nothing is better than the first 6 seasons of the TWD. Everything is else is just a mess. I tried the world beyond, just terrible. Even Robert Kirkman has had enough. This show needs to die.

I just thought the entire whisperer war was corny and the saviors angle lasted way too long so I got a little burnt out on the TWD. Then everyone started leaving the cast as they killed off Carl for no reason. But Fear seems to be taking a very dark turn and I’ve been very interested so far. Love to see how things play out with Strand and Daniel/Morgan.

Agreed the first 6 seasons of TWD were great. I have hope for a good ending with the commonwealth I just hope they make everything tie in together the right way and don’t leave huge gaps.

None of it is good

If they would have listened to me, they'd have been successful.

Fear should have had a different cast each season. From different timeliness of the event, tellibg many different stories and opening up the bigger picture.

That keeps things safe from repetition. Keeps it fresh as its purpose to be a complimentary show telling a larger story. Different points in time, different parts of the country, different styles of survival battling different times and elements of fear.

..i mean, they may as well have. Since the main cast is drastically different from starting out and expendable.

I’m just glad they killed Madison off. She was awful. Strand and Daniel make that show.

I don’t think in the history of television that there has been a character that has swung back and forth from really well done to ridiculous over and over again as much as Morgan Jones.

I don’t know, but seeing Julia Ormond in the condition she is in on this other Dead show is ducking depressing. I know she got older, but Jesus.

I tried Fear for a while, but it got so unbearably stupid that I had to drop it. I watched the first episode of the new one and it looks equally terrible.

I'll watch TWD until the end, which is apparently next season, and I'm out. Looks like zombie shite is over. Maybe we'll revive it again in 20 years.

Fear started off horrible, got better, then horrible again. The first two episodes this season are some of the better ones in a long time, but I just know they will screw it up.

The World Beyond had potential as a concept, but the execution fails. Everything in the last episode was idiotic. I hate all the characters except Hope, and only like her a bit because the actress, Alexa Mansour, is so cute.

Why am I watching? I ask myself that all the time. Sort of a hate watch combined with hope they can get their shite together.

I hung in there through a lot of bad but the rabid crocodile was a bridge too far and I bailed.

I haven’t seen Fear but I have heard it’s really good for a while before quality drops some but still ok. It also has Lexa from the 100 in it and she is fireeeeee. Does it stream anywhere?

Insofar as Walking Dead, I began to completely start not even paying attention it was on sometime midway through the Negan season. It just has run out of possible scenarios of putting people in they just make minor tweaks. My idea to keep from repetitive scenarios would’ve been the virus mutating (akin to resident evil) creating new and more deadly monsters instead of just fighting survivors over and over

ETA: Whipe seasons 1-5 of Walking Dead all have their moments. 3 and 4 are undoubtedly the best because the Governor is the best character on the show

Ive enjoyed the seasons of the walking dead. The last couple have been worse than the ones before. BUT, if there is one thing that fear the walking dead has done for me, is to solidify how much Morgan's character sucks.

The first two episodes this season have some promise but like the other story lines I'm sure they will ruin it. I'll keep watching TWD and Fear until the end because I'm invested in it. The one with the kids is just plain BAD!

I quit watching TWD when they killed Carl off for no reason. I mean, it's not that I loved the character or anything, it was just that it seemed like they didn't do it to further the story, they just did it to do it. And the rumors had already started that Rick would be leaving, so what was the use in continuing when they wrote off what was the two main characters from a story standpoint (in both the show and the comics). It made no sense.

So who is now the focal character on the show, Daryl? He was a good supporting character, but there is no way that he should be the focal character of the show.
