Same here about the raccoon scene - my face hurt from laughing and both my boys were rolling.
Loved the Poltetgeist nod (could hear several other adults clapping a laughing about that one).
Most entertained I’ve been in a theater this year excepting Infinity War.

Just got out. Man, what an awesome movie! About as good as you can hope for a sequel! You'd have to work really hard to find anything to criticize.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I enjoyed this film so much I had to offer my 2 cents:
First, get off the SJW talk...It wasn't that type of film and to draw that connection is just looking to stir shite up...If you watched the First Incredibles, it is very clear who wears the pants in the Parr Family and it is ElastiGirl...She was the brains then and still is..If anything, this film showed that Bob could run a home once he put it together and worked it out...
To the film...
I haven't laughed and enjoyed a film is such a long time that this was refreshing. I saw everyone. one laughing and having a great time.
Jack Jack was definitely the scene stealer..The Raccoon scene is obviously one of the best parts of the movie, but I love the Edna scene as well...
I loved how this movie takes up exactly where the first movie ended by continuing with the "under-Miner" battle...very good decision from Disney to follow that up.
This really focused on Elastigirl's abilities and I realty enjoyed how they really show just how very talented she can use her talents. Mr. Incredible is a battering Ram and that's cool, but I was with her getting more time because it worked with the script and didn't feel like a "forced" SJW thing...
I have to admit that I how always has a soft spot for Holly Hunter..she's cute as a button and her accent is adorable.
They did give up the villain a little soon but that's not a big deal...
I do wished there could have been a little bit more "Honey" interaction with Frozen..it was funny, but even shorter that the "where's my super-suit" moment from the first movie.
I usually don't shell out money to pay to see a movie in the theater because it is so damned expensive but I can do it on this one...

Saw it with my wife last night in a Dolby theater. Amazing!

Got out of an early showing today. Not quite as good as the first, but still very good. Jack Jack is the greatest baby ever. I liked everything about this movie, but the villain was lame, especially in comparison to Syndrome. I just don’t know what she symbolically represents, and think they could have made her a better character. But everything else is so fricking good that it doesn’t matter all that much:

Yeah I liked that side of Mr. Incredible. I have a one year old so my wife and I were cracking up at the Jack Jack scenes.

Ditto.

I liked it, fell asleep for a few minutes but I do that.
Women have chattered about how inept men are when they get together for thousands of years, didn't seem out of line.

Just saw it. I really didn’t think I would like it as much as the first. I’m probably in the minority here, but I liked it better. Great movie.

Took two of my granddaughters to see it. I went in expecting to look at my watch every ten minutes wondering how much longer .
I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did the girls. I called my brother today and told him he needed to take the kids to this one.

I really liked this movie, and would give it a 3.5 out of 4 stars, but it's not the 4 stars I would give the original. I think you could have made the villain fantastic, but I don't get what she's going for. Her name is Evelyn Deavor, which is a play on "Evil Endeavor". Go all out on making her evil like Syndrome. Maybe she understands that Supers bring ratings and exploit that to their own demise.
They should have ripped off the villain's endgame from the Justice League cartoon. In a certain episode, the Joker rigs Las Vegas to blow with 20 atomic bombs and broadcasts it on the major networks while the Justice League defuses them. The Justice League "stops" the Joker, and then he reveals that the bombs were just a ploy to get hundreds of millions to tune in while he employs a mutant to drive them all insane over the television.
That roughly should have been Screen Slaver's goal. Have her be a power hungry bitch who understood the power of the Supers to provoke ratings and then enslave half the country to her will. Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack are the only supers who don't watch it, and then they wake up their parents and the other Supers from there. Maybe have them stop a mass Supers execution on the boat.
I loved the movie, don't get me wrong, but the villain was lacking. I do think if you had Evelyn be a media mogul instead and enslave the Supers and the country, it could have been better. I loved it, but they needed to go back to the drawing board with the villain. The plot is the same, except the villain is better.

I was laughing so hard at the jack jack vs raccoon fight I had tears in my eyes. Reminded me of Scrat scenes in Ice Age movies but better. I need a screenshot of the Raccoon’s expression when Jack Jack first burst into flames with the lawn chair.

I'm with you actually--I enjoyed this one even more than the first.
And I had HIGH expectations for this going in. It exceeded them all.

So this guy on Screen Rant is arguing that Syndrome is the hero of the Incredibles. You could use the exact same arguments he does to say that Hitler was the true hero of World War II: LINK
“Hey, sure Hitler killed 6 million Jews, but they were subjugating the German populace by being richer. They had it coming. If they really wanted to avoid this, then it’s all the fault of the meanie who didn’t accept Hitler’s application into art school. So despite being a genocidal evil monster, it’s really his fault that Hitler rose to power, and let’s face it, Hitler was justified for what he did.”
Most ridiculous defense of villain I’ve ever seen. He might as well blame society for being pissed that we don’t like Hannibal Lector’s cuisine choices.

Yeah that's a shitty argument
The hero of the Incredibles movies is family unity. It's not that difficult to pick up on.
Saying it's Syndrome is just trying too hard.

I didn’t notice it till my friend pointed it out to me, but the Underminer is still at large. I wonder if this series will get a 3rd installment? (Great movie btw)

Meh. I didn't think it was anything special.

It was a good movie, so there won't be much focus on it, but you can't tell me you didn't see the undertones of it a few different times. Elastigirl and whatever the other girls name was literally had a conversation about it on the couch saying how they were both better than their male counterparts, but never get the recognition.
Why would you read that far into it to get a political connection, but not take it a step further and point that that the one more or less okay with it is the "good guys" and the one who is militant and aggressive about it is the villain?

And if you stay till the very very end, they reference it. Nothing major, but at the absolute end of the credits they have his mini drill silhouette move across the screen.

Didn't stay til the end. Good to know. I suspect he will pop up again (I think Bomb Voyage should be the big bad in 3)
