Take this movie for what it’s worth, you arm chair Siskel and Eberts.

It wasnt miind blowing but damn did I laugh at all the nuances.

All the flasks.

Two thumbs up.

I had to look up imdb mid movie to see who caddy was because figured it had to be someone famous.

It was “fine”. TONS of nods to the originals. A cameo every 5 seconds it seems. I wouldn’t rush to go watch it nor am I watching it again but had some funny moments. The flasks were great and John Daly and the caddie were the best side characters.

If I’m going to be overly critical on one part it’s how Happys drive killed Virginia. I said “Jesus Christ that’s dark for a movie like this” to my wife

I still love Airplane and Spaceballs. My two favorite comedies. Both since i was like 6 or 7.
Watched both last week and watch both almost every year. Our humor changes but funny is still funny.

I just turned 60 last week, and I think both Airplane 1&2, Blazing Saddles, Christmas Vacation, and the original Vacation are some of the best comedy movies ever made.

Spaceballs, Idiocracy, Stripes, Animal House, Trading Places, The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Sandlot, Caddyshack, the list goes on and on...

but like you said, funny is funny, and stands the test of time.

I thought the flask and Daly were great also.

It is still funny, JD was probably my favorite part along with Fred Couples eating like it was his last meal watching the Maxi league match. The funniest one liner was in the credits when Scheffler is in jail and the guard says aren’t you getting out today and he says “what’s for supper?” The guard says Chicken Tenders. Scheffler says “ I think i’ll stick around for that.”

Loved it. Tragedy. Call backs. Cameos. Redemption arc. It had it all.

As I watched it the second time it became clear that this legacy sequel was his tribute to his family and friends. Those that helped him along the way.

Well done Mr Gilmore.

Like someone said. The first part had a few laughs and brought back nostalgic scenes. The 2nd part was probably the best with the masters dinner and all the old school golfers. The third part felt like another movie and was embarrassing and so bad especially the strange golf part.

The 6th sense kid is so bad. I never understand why they bring him in movies and shows as an adult . He was bad in Entourage and now this. I'm also glad I never heard of this bad bunny fella either. The ben stiller character was the standout of the first movie and was forced and bad in the 2nd.

I’m now an hour and a half in this and it has completely went off the rails.

It wasn’t the worst movie ever until they got into the maxi golf tournament. Holy hell this is dumb.

Yeah the movie was good until they got into the maxi golf tournament. Those 5 actors and the whole golf scene was truly terrible.

The only thing I hated about the movie was it showing us a flashback every time they made a reference to the original movie.

It wasn't bad.

Maybe people can give Scheffler a little more credit now for not being so vanilla.

All the old golfers being asleep before the end of the tournament was funny.
