The Expanse.

Really good space adventure series. I watched all four seasons in a little over three weeks.

Here's Wiki's "what it is" description:

quote:

The Expanse is an American science fiction television series developed by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, based on the series of novels of the same name by James S. A. Corey. The series is set in a future where humanity has colonized the Solar System. It follows a disparate band of antiheroes – United Nations Security Council member Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo), police detective Josephus Miller (Thomas Jane), ship's officer James Holden (Steven Strait) and his crew – as they unwittingly unravel and place themselves at the center of a conspiracy which threatens the system's fragile state of Cold War.

The Expanse has received critical acclaim, with particular praise for its visuals, character development and political narrative. It received a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation and three Saturn Award nominations for Best Science Fiction Television Series. Alcon Entertainment produces and finances the series. It sold three seasons to Syfy, which canceled the series in May 2018. Amazon Prime Video picked up the series for a fourth season, which was released on December 12, 2019.[2][3] On July 27, 2019, Amazon renewed The Expanse for a fifth season.[4] ...

The above bold part is what makes it different. No Klingons, Ferengi, Bajorans, Cardassians, etc. walking around with the humans.

Depends. If I'm binging to seriously watch, it'd be something more substantial, like Sopranos or Justified.

But for a month long every night background noise/mindless binge, Cheers/Frasier gives you 22 seasons worth of quick episodes.

I'm binging The Americans right now. It's a cold war spy thriller series set in the 80s. So far, so good. Good acting, very good production values for a television period piece and some hot women.

I watched the whole series over about a month just a few months ago. I had watched like half of season one when it came out but I was young and busy with other things and just stopped watching.

This would be my pick. Outside of The Wire, it's probably my favorite show I've seen the entire series.

I just finished Hell on Wheels too and would second the recommendation someone else made.

This but just wait until the final season comes out on the 29th. Also make sure you watch it in German with the English subtitles.

If you guys haven't seen Avatar the last Airbender, don't let it being animated stop you. That's a really good series. Probably the best animated series I've ever seen.

I watched the first episode of Dark. Yeah that show just isn’t for me. Sopranos it is.

Whoever recommended the Americans that is an outstanding show I’ve watched about two seasons Inneed to get back into it.
