fricking celebrities.
Now, back to our support of donald trump.

Yep. He was so sad that his mom wouldn't get the chance to see the first female president. Like for the sake of his mother seeing a woman elected, America should have voted an obvious scumbag into office because she was a woman.
He also said that he wouldn't make any jokes about Caitlyn Jenner because we now live in a country where we're above that. That really pissed Jerry Seinfeld off who came onto his show the next week and called him out to his face for it. Jerry was downright hostile to Seth for it.

Except when you complain that some agenda is being shoved down your throat.
NBC isn't doing it, Meyers isn't doing it, you are.
So yeah, change the fricking channel.

Go watch that clip again and tell me what was "downright hostile" about it.

Its kind of the point of this board to voice your opinions about movies/tv.

I thought he was ok on SNL because it was just a few minutes of airtime per week. I tried to watch his NBC show and even DVR'd it for a time. He's really not good in this format. At least he gave up on the standing monologue early on. It was beyond terrible.
It sort of reminds me of daily show now in that it's not funny and the flaming political commentary is really tired. Also his smarmy delivery has lost any comedic value it had when he was on SNL and it's way too whiny and lecturing.

His talk show is another story.

I just understand who he appeals to on the spectrum... he really doesn't have a quality that would be able to carry a daily late show.. maybe they felt he could play the smug/smartass host but he doesn't have the look or talent..

He was never any good on SNL, one of the weakest cast members IMO. He played the vanilla white guy, mat as well have been replaced by manikin in most of his skits. He reminds me of a way less talented version of Dennis from it's always sunny. I think he was one of the head writers though, maybe I'm wrong but if that's true he at least has that going for him.
there is a ton of win in this message
I dont really care for Meyers too much, he is way too smug for me. His show has some funny moments but he also beats the viewer over the head with politics way too much.

Mozart wasn't even funny when he was on SNL. And now he's too political as well. NOT WATCHING!

I think back to what Late Night was with Conan and Letterman and it makes me sad to see where Seth Meyers has taken the show. Just awful.

The people who say "change the channel, don't complain" is really saying "I'm a real man, I never complain".
But If our founding fathers used this logic, this country would still be owned by England while paying outrageous tax. As you can see, it's dumb logic.

The founding fathers didn't complain about the Philadelphia Theater sucking. They just didn't go to the plays there.
What we're saying is that if a real man experiences entertainment that he doesn't like, he just doesn't go back to that entertainment. He doesn't bitch because other people are liking something that he doesn't enjoy.
It's different if you're forced to listen to rap at the workplace. If you didn't like Seth Meyers, turn the channel. You don't have to start a thread to let us know that you were offended.
