Pretty badly too.

Practically speaking, the movie is just way too long and we'll put it nicely and just say it borrowed from other movies like Sev7n, Sev7n, The Crow, That other David Fincher movie, Sev7n and The Blues Brothers.

And what was the point really of putting Colin Ferrell in all that make up and shite? Why not just hire an actor who was fat and old? That was a pointless Dick Tracy move right there.

Anyway, to all of you who bitched about it being woke. It's woke. It wasn't as woke as it could've been but when pretty much all the good guys are black and the white guys are bad or crazy. It's fairly frickin' woke.

And why insert the words white privilege? That's a rhetorical question, I know why. But really though, why? What does that bring to the table?

Look, I can ignore alot of this social shite in movies but it's got to be a good movie. If it's a good movie or show, I won't even notice much of it unless it's pointed out to me. If it's a bad movie though, flaws like that just shine through.

The movie was paced poorly, low on action, low on script development, the cinematography was bad, the movie was lit very poorly. Constant rain is a lazy substitute for good scene production. The movie was just dull.

I will say this though. It was well acted or about as well acted as it could be. Robert Pattison, Colin Ferrell and John Turturro did a good job. Especially John Turturro, he seemed to get the best out of a uninspired script.

Oh and another thing. This movie is a Walmart parking lot shite diaper compared to the Christian Bale movies.

I agree about the Colin Farrell and white privilege points. But I still think it’s a damn good Batman

Go take a breather and relax.Because this new Batman world is here to stay. You will pay to see the sequels and you will like it!

I think Robert Pattison did a good job and fit the tone of the movie well.

I'll watch them but not at the theater. Had I paid to see this at the theater, I would've been pissed afterwards. Watching a dull movie at home though only leaves me mildly annoyed.

I agree with you on some aspects. This felt like a TV show season for me or limited series. Probably a top 3-4 Batman movie for me. Not bad, but not “the one”. Batman Begins still sits on top.

I appreciated that most of his shite was at least practical.

Rewatch batman and robin in theaters. The batman looks like citizen kane compared..had no one been spoiled with batman begins and the dark knight.

I thought it was just ok. Was really dissapointed with the riddler. I thought Dano was going to do much better. Penguin was the best part

Dano was the worst part of the movie. I didn't buy him as a capable villain at all.

I watched it yesterday. It was okay, nothing special. It was about one hour too long. Very poor pacing.

And that's a bad thing? I didn't mind when a sci-fi movie like Edge of Tomorrow borrowed from the comedy Groundhog Day. In the comics, Batman is a great detective and this movie finally focused on that Sherlockian skill. I like that a superhero movie was reminiscent of a great serial killer/detective thriller like Sev7n. I do have issues with the movie, but borrowing from Sev7n is not one of them.

My biggest complaint was the incessant whispering by nearly every character. And also it went a little too long and Pattinson's billionaire Bruce Wayne was written too moody/angsty/goth.

But otherwise, Pattinson's Batman might be my favorite Batman.

I didn’t care for it. It was boring. Didn’t like any of the characters. The Catwoman was especially awful. Don’t know why everyone is lauding Pattinson. Seemed like the same moody sparkly vampire guy to me. He was decent in that movie about the Amazon though.
The one thing I did like was the cars. The Batmobile was awesome.
