I have noticed a recent trend with F-bombs in tv shows

Instead of saying the actual F word, they are replacing that word with God Damn.
I started noticing this a few weeks ago in a show I was watching.. then I noticed it again in another show.. but then I started watching SUITS and really noticed it in that series.
Just thought it was an interesting observation

Justified did this. I’m guessing FX wouldn’t let them use frick. So GD was the big swear.

Which is actually worse imo. Literally the only "cuss word" actually listed in the Bible (do not take the Lord's name in vain). Not sure how we, as a society, decided that was the tamest "swear word."

Interesting how much "woke/PC/DEI ideology" you will find in older programs and movies. Even shows such as Touched by An Angel are filled with marxist brainwashing propaganda. Don't believe me? Just go watch a couple episodes and you will find a Woke/PC/DEI God. Been going on for a long time and very common but at the time, just considered harmless and childish. Now it is all in the open and easily recognized as simply intentional and malicious evil.

I agree. I think it’s the way Hollywood talks. The writers and the actors are so used to he word now, it just flows.
