He’s not even credited as this on iMDB. He’s listed as The Weeknd.
I think maybe 1/100 people MAYBE know that’s his name.
Just say The Weeknd bro
I took it straight from what the trailer said, so take it up with Mr. Abel Tesfaye. Besides, he’ll be The Weeknd for about six more months. After this tour he’s retiring the moniker and going by his given name.

I hate to break it to him then, but he will be calling The Weeknd for a lot longer than 6 more months lol

Another weird artsy movie you have to eat caps to understand.

His fans will call it genius, and we all just don't understand said genius

100%
I also think this is one of those things where fans who are probably smarter than the artist end up grafting intellectual gravitas to the "work" that is in reality and otherwise fairly unremarkable

Just got back from the fan preview showing. Pretty entertaining movie. Yeah, it has a bit of an artsy, psychedelic feel to it. But it also has creeping paranoia, a pall of inevitable doom, and elements similar to movies like Misery and American Psycho. I enjoyed it.

No, I'm Saint Alfonzo. It was a good flick, made primarily for fans, but still entertaining for regular folks. Jenna Ortega was excellent and as much of a main character as The Weeknd. The movie is a cinematic companion to a concept album, much like The Wall or Purple Rain, two movies with similar themes.

Bro, this flick aside, Barry Keoghan is the tits.
Dunkirk, Chernobyl, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Saltburn, American Animals...
I know those types of movies aren't for everyone, but he's a phenomenal actor.
