I honestly don't know how anyone watched it not on Netflix. Some of those cliffhangers would have killed me if I couldn't skip to the next episode immediately. Especially the end of season 3, I don't know how y'all waited a year to see what happened.

I wouldn't say I started watching it because of Netflix, but it certainly made it easier to get caught up

Unfortunately I do that a lot. I remember an ex-coworker who used to sit in meetings and he would suddenly say stuff that was completely off-topic to the current discussion. I wondered what planet he was on. Turns out I do the same thing on message boards.

I wish I had the netflix route haha...I had to wait for the AMC marathon before Season 4 started to watch every episode I had missed after I jumped into Season 3. Many a late night that summer

I got the discs from Netflix for the first two seasons. Watched the third, fourth, and first half of fifth on streaming, then watched the second half of fifth as they premiered.

I did. I can count on one hand the number of shows that I watch live.

Netflix was necessary for me to enjoy the show since it took me three attempts to get through season 1.

I would call it almost critical to my enjoyment of the show.

I'm also wondering if studios delaying DVD/blurays to Netflix and redbox has increased sales at all

Me! I completely agree. Once you get like 2 or 3 seasons into it put it on Netflix and people who didn't watch originally might start watching.
