seems like a lot on this board (myself included) hopped onto the bandwagon due to the easy access to it to get caught up quickly.

More networks need to start utilizing it as a tool instead of viewing it as a hinderance

I wouldn't say I started watching it because of Netflix, but it certainly made it easier to get caught up

This, all the brewhaha here and everywhere else made us give it a try. Being able to binge watch on Netflix got us seriously hooked.

I decided to check it on Netflix over the summer. Only way I got caught up before the last season.

I got into it via this board after the first season aired. I got caught up on the first season and watched the rest of it live.

Some friends who I recommended the show to were finally able to give it a go due to the Netflix availability.

This board has led me to try some good shows. BB, Luther, Justified, etc.

Combination of people here raving about it and the first three seasons already being on Netflix.

I remember seeing commercials for it when it first started...though it looked like shite. I'm actually glad I thought that because I don't think I could have handled the wait between each season.

Breaking Bad is basically a Netflix show in the UK

New episodes were released on the site the day after they were aired here.

Me. I was just browsing Netflix and thought, I've heard so much about this show I guess I'll check it out.

I was hooked from the first episode.

I signed up for Netflix to watch the 4th season of Arrested Development. I had never even seen the show but I follow Ron Howard on Twitter so I got interested. I signed up, watched the first three seasons, then watched the 4th season. What got me hooked to stay was House of Cards and OITNB.

I caught up on Breaking Bad last year by torrenting the first four seasons. I hadn't thought of Netflix.

I think they will. The record numbers for the 2nd half of the season debut were largely credited to the NetFlix Affect in multiple articles. I've started and caught up on several shows including The Walking Dead because of NetFlix.

On season 3 right now, definitely dropped the ball getting caught up but an 8 month old will do that to you.
