I understand Taylor Swift, James Corden, and Rebel Wilson.

How did Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, and Idris Elba end up in this movie?

I went to the theater to see it, thinking it would just be so ridiculously bad that it was funny. I was dead wrong. You can watch funny shite like the room a few times and have laugh. You'll never want to watch cats again.

No, he turned down a multi year commitment to play Bond. His multi year marvel commitment had a role in that.

Some friends and I thought about eating mushrooms and going to see it in the theatre but we chickened out. We were afraid it would freak us out too much.

nope.

I did see a plethora of videos mocking it from those who DID see it.

Cat CG images are nightmare fuel.

Don't do it. There is absolutely no reason to watch it. High, drunk, anything. You will regret it.

I may have considered if John Candy was alive and was the lead.

Horrible. In fact, it was so rushed that the CGI was completed days before release. And it had massive CGI errors. One where an actress's real hand showed up with her wedding ring on. It was so bad that the studios cleaned it up and sent the theaters and updated version with the "corrected" CGI (first time in movie history, I believe).

And that is just how poorly it was done on a technical level. This movie was even worse than that on every other level.
