For me, him being in it may actually make me watch when I otherwise would ignore.

He’s really good at playing the protector, either as a father or just the guy in town that stands up for women or the innocent. Like others have said he probably can’t carry an entire movie by himself but he normally makes what he is in better.

My opinion he is not top tier, but then again few are. He is 'B' grade in my book (above average to good).

Here in the year 2026, I’ll give a movie a shot just because he’s in it.

I thought he was 6’5”, so he’s a great actor.

Yeah, that's where I'm at with him too.

He seems similar in ways to his dad in roles. Same gruffness. But I was legitimately surprised when I learned he wasn't a big dude, that had always been the impression I'd gotten.

No Country is one of my favorite films of all time and a classic IMO

And then the Sicario series is incredible, too bad the writers cant get the third movie off the ground!

He’s good, but he doesn’t have a lot of range…

Surprised people are downvoting this. I like Brolin, but he basically plays the same arrogant a-hole character in every movie I've seen him in.

I like him. He was great in one of my top 5 movies, Flirting With Disaster. Very funny as a gay US Marshal who licks Patricia Arquette’s armpit.
