How amazing would Breaking Bad have been had it been on HBO instead of network television?

Imagine Breaking Bad with no censorship, no commercials.

Probably not much different honestly. It was already pretty graphic and didn't they drop f bombs in it on AMC anyway?

Boobs and F bombs are the only real differences.

And they’ve dropped like 10 F bombs in Impeachment

Disagree.

In the middle of some big showdown and then get a 4 minute break to sell you a buick and shampoo.

Boobs are really the only thing that would have changed. Perhaps some more gratuitous gore in some of the violent scenes, but the show didn't really pull punches on violence or language throughout.

ETA: Of course the lack of commercials would have made an impact initially, but I don't really think that is a factor considering BrBa is available now without them.

The first episode has boobs, since it was a pilot for a network like HBO.

I forgot about that scene. Pretty nice ones, too, IIRC.

No commercials would be a bigger highlight than censorship. But you can say that about any series ever.

Removing commercials makes it more enjoyable…just stream it and you will see

There is a difference in gratuitous violence for the sake of violence & the freedom to produce a realistic product.

I don't need to see Skylar's saggy tits or Hank's dick so Breaking Bad was just fine without HBO.

That's why that show is so good. It didn't need lazy tricks like nudity, and gore to capture your attention. Great scripts, acting, and cinematography were all it needed.

I downloaded it from a torrent site to watch it. No commercials.

What They Do In The Shadows is on FX and they say frick several times an episode. Not sure what was being censored.

Breaking Bad is damn near perfect as is. What else can you add to make it better?

Great show.
