Not much about S1 makes me think they will get away from the novella. They stayed very true to the source material for the most part.

Team Black, but I’m a fan of Aemond. He’s a badass for going for Vhagar and claiming her. Psychotic, but badass. Plus that whole family helped lead to him growing up to be an a-hole.

I think they’re gonna stretch this out and have Rooks Rest be the penultimate episode of the season. I hope not, cause that means they move really slow. That’s just my feeling though. Hopefully they move quicker and that’s a mid season episode

i want to see this shite get extended all the way to the blackfyre rebellion. there is enough material to keep House of the Dragon going for a decade.
