Great series. I just got Netflix and have gotten completely caught up. How often do they come out with a new episode. Spacey is fantastic as the power hungry Congressman working the system to his benefit. Are we now at a point that we are in between seasons?

The entire 1st season was released at one time. Season 2 should be out soon.

Just watched the first episode last night. Very good. This should fill the void until my regular series start back. Kevin's wife is damn sexy.

Edit: Kevin's wife is Robin Wright. I knew she looked familiar. She looks better now that as Gump's Jenny.

That's what I said. My girlfriend looked at me like I was crazy. In HoC she is smart and sexy. In Gump she was dumb and crackwhorish.

On episode 7. Just finished The West Wing so it's a different take on politics.

It's good. Kate Mara is smoking. Don't want any spoilers but she is freakier than I thought her character would be.

The way Netflix released them was nice, but it kinda took away the social aspect of it. No real way to talk about what will happen next after one episode. I could see them changing their release type next season. And I wouldn't be disappointed at all.

It's the bomb! Spacey's southern accent is greatness.

Have you seen the original BBC series?

It's also bad arse!

I love this show. Kind of took me by surprise and I'm halfway through at the moment.

I didn't really appreciate the writers taking the character in that direction.

Also...I knew Kate and Rooney Mara were sisters but I didn't realize that Kate was the eldest. Rooney just seems older to me.

Agreed. It was different when he was just a corrupt, power hungry politician. And it could have been done without Russo going like that.

****SPOILER****SPOILER

If you watched the original BBC House of Cards then you would not be surprised. Basically the same storyline except its in Parliament instead of Congress. In the British HoC's he is angling to be the Prime Minister but yea, he has to kill a few folks. In the British version he throws his reporter girlfriend off the top of a building at the end of season 1

****SPOILER****SPOILER

I was wondering if it was just me, but the Brits just seem so much better than us at TV. I generally enjoy watching British shows more than American pictures.
