Reportedly, the movie will once again feature a time traveling hot tub and most of the original cast, including John Cusack, Clark Duke, Craig Robinson, and Rob Corddry, are expected to return.
Sounds like he's in it to me

Fairly certain Cusack is NOT returning. Rob Corddry was on Howard Stern last week and said Adam Scott is in this one as Cusack’s son in place of him…which is a bummer. Just figured I’d let you know. I hope YOUR article is correct and I am wrong…but sadly, I am pretty positive.

I played officer John on heat of the night for five seasons. I am ready to get back in the biz. Along with Heat, I have worked on many other productions. most recent was We are Marshal And one missed Call. I live in Griffin Ga.and I have an extensive resume containing 20 years of experience. From Robo 3 to I’ll Fly Away it seems that I am always cast as a cop.
Thanks for your consideration and I hope you will allow me to work in this field again.
I want to continue my dream. Thanks.
Heat of the Night??! Hire this man immediately!

Everything I've read said it would be a small cameo at most.
Adam Scott is basically taking his place.

They are also looking for flair bartenders.

I'm ok with a sequel, but only if they show the girl from Mad Men naked again.

Rob Courdry(sp?) was on Stern talking about it last week. He said the budget is much much lower then the first so they couldn't afford Cusak. He also said the title up until a couple weeks ago was Hot Tub Time Machine 3: Because Hot Tub Time Machine 2 hasn't happened yet.

The first movie was decent, but a second one seems unnecessary.

I was pleasantly surprised about this movie, but like pretty much every comedy, it has no business having a sequel.

The first movie was one that nobody had expectations for but saw it anyway and loved it. Much funnier than I thought it'd be. Kinda like Hall Pass or Good Ole Fashioned Orgy. A sequel seems kinda dumb for a movie of that caliber but if done cheap could make a nice pay day.

Adam scott is awesome.
And guys, hate to break it to you but comedys are about being funny, so who gives a frick if theres a sequel, it wont change the first at all and you will possibly get another really funny movie out of it. Theres no losing in this situation

They were filming outside the office today. Clark Duke was wearing capri pants and Adam Scott was wearing a skirt and there were smart cars parked everywhere. I guess that's their future.

Adam Scott is a great replacement

Great white buffalo
the trucks I saw downtown today had a sign that said "Leased to Great White Buffalo Productions" so it was pretty evident what they were filming
