I'm also a big fan of The Changeling - George C. Scott.

Two different people have mentioned Exorcist 3 and I'm curious now. Especially since the original was so good and sequels never tend to live up to the first one.

Pretend Exorcist 3 is its own movie and you'll enjoy it more. Its based on a book called Legion that has nothing to do with Exorcist. The studio forced in a quick scene with the priest from the first Exorcist just so they could use the name and make a little more money.

This question does get asked a lot, and I do enjoy that every time someone does you drop the massive backlog. Some of those are good to sift through multiple times.

And to be honest, I only do it like 40% to be a dick. The other 60% is because we've had some really solid horror discussions before on here, and I'm sharing that.

Maybe it's closer to like 50/50, but the point being that it's not just to be a dick.

I'm actually appreciative of the link drop

I'll waste the next few days sifting through the rubble in advance of this year's AMC Monster/Fear/Horror/Walking Dead -fest

saw Men Behind the Sun mentioned in the first link. I'd forgotten what it was about, so I googled it which led to a bunch of "similair" films being suggested (Cannibal Holocaust, Salo, etc.) and most of which I'd heard of... except for August Underground. Just. frick.

Cosmo, good stuff. Yes, we do cover horror films. I was looking through all of those old threads and we do have some quality picks.

Oh if you are into gore check out a film called Dead Alive. Movie is damn hilarious. It got kind of a cult following because it was directed by Peter Jackson before he got famous.

Full Movie

I'm a big fan of Rosemary's Baby and the original Dawn of the Dead.

I want to say Suspiria...it would be perfect, but good luck on getting a quality copy of it.

I tell everyone near Halloween.

The Orphanage.

Watch this fricking movie! It's amazing and scary.

And if you need something old school creepy...

The Changeling with George C. Scott (maybe the best ghost story movie I've ever seen.)

If "fricked up movies" is what you're going for, then try:

Human Centipede (but for the love of God, motherfricking not Human Centipede 2 )
Megan is Missing
Cannibal Holocaust
A Serbian Film
Martyrs
ken park
Hard Candy
Teeth

Check this thread.

"Fallen" with Denzel Washington. Scary movie that you will think about for a few nights after watching it.
