That's the next 8 episodes. They need to get a full night's sleep.

Careful, you are going to bring back the people who will say this show is "How your Mother slept" not "How your Mother made a good show."

Terrible episode tonight. Running a lot of jokes into the ground and are really trying too hard to push the "Ted is hours away from meeting his soulmate" angle.

It did show him getting engaged. People can't complain that it was just a filler episode.

Lots of Cleveland references tonight. Good stuff.

Yeah, that was difficult to watch. Every story arc was just terrible. Although, I did like the 500 miles throwback and the proposal.

Try a little tenderness made me forget the 29 minutes that preceeded it. Great song choice.

This was a bad episode. The same tired jokes are just getting aggravating. The proposal was pretty lame. You take a girl to a spot where you brought some other chick you didn't like that has no meaning to the new girl? Ted should of done better and really Mosbied the proposal.

500 miles was the best part of the episode. I do hope the new Marshall just rips into Lily when he finally gets to the wedding.

Yeah, a lot better looking this week. Still not young hot Lily anymore.

First time I had laughed at this show in a while. Brought back memories of the better episodes.

Even though it was for just a very short time I was at least glad we saw the mother again. Hated the proposal and the timeline doesnt make sense. If Ted meets her at this wedding, how does it take him 2 years to propose? shite, if this girl is so perfect for him why does it take him longer than any previous relationship to finally pop the question?

Marshall needs to get to the wedding because I am completely over his road trip. And I am still wondering how his fight with Lily is going to go.

I think they said 33 hours to go til the wedding last night. Takes about 9 hours to drive from Cleveland to East Hampton, had to use East Hampton as a guess because Farhampton is completely made up by the show. So we are in for a lot more of this stupid car ride even if they truck it through the rest of it as fast as possible. Unfortunately I think they will drag the stupid car ride out for as long as possible.

I also thought I remember him saying in an earlier episode that he would return with his wife a year later. So, did they come back twice and went to the lighthouse the second time, or did they mix up the timing?

Did he say his wife or "your mother"? Cuz that's a big difference. I don't remember exactly how that scene went down.

I'm gonna try to watch last night's episode some time this evening. Hope I like it more than these comments seemed to.

The episode was light on jokes, but hit some emotional beats.

I didn't like it because it reminded me of the most insulting episode they've ever made, when they fool us into thinking Robin had kids.

But using Try a Little Tenderness as the song playing when he proposes was a really nice touch. I love that song.

Also, Lily would be passed out right now from having a constant drink the entire weekend.

She really didn't drink that much this episode with all the stupid glass breaking she did from lawyer words. She is such a selfish bitch.

She's quickly entering Peggy Hill/Jill Taylor status.
