Hijack - Idris Elba - Apple TV

Some reason I thought this was a movie but it is a 7 episode series. The 1st two episodes came out last night on Apple TV.
I'm a Idris homer, but I really enjoyed the 1st 2, wished they released them all at once. Pretty intense so far.

Saw the trailer as I logged in to ATV last night, and I am in for the ride. As soon as we finish Ted Lasso we are ramping this one up.

That trailer looks good, but why in the hell should this be a show instead of a movie? There's absolutely no reason to drag a story like this our for 7 (!) episodes.
I hate that they can't simply make good movies anymore...feels like everything has to be a series these days.

I like him too. Will be checking this out tonight.

It’s just a good old-fashioned suspenseful airplane hijack show. Loving it.

debating now whether to start Ep. 2 or just wait for it all to come out then binge it. Silo is a perfect example of rewarding yourself by waiting for the binge.
By all accounts of everyone here who watched Silo week to week dubbed it as a slog but I binged the whole show last week and thought it was pretty thrilling and engaging actually

I watched the first episode a couple nights ago and liked it. I think I'll try to trickle episodes over the next week so that by the time I get done with them the newest (and last) one will have aired and I won't have to wait.
