This has been a really entertaining show. It does keep you on the DVR of your seat but the last episode did get a little annoying.

- Nobody went to help Elba’s character during the fight even though the whole plane was primed and ready? Nobody going for the gun?

- That might’ve been the worst tailing of a suspect in the history of TV/Movies. Edgar tells them to not to follow him, so they send three cars at full speed to trail the guy?

- There was zero suspense when they closed in on the plane on the runway because that same twist has been done a million times.

It’s still a pretty good show but I agree that it should’ve been 1-2 episodes shorter.

Binged the whole series the last 2 nights.

The first 3-4 episodes were awesome, but like most have said, it kind of limped home.

Of all the diversions from reality- my favorite had to be how Elba basically had free reign all over the plane. Seemed like every episode had 30 minutes of hijackers making empty threats to every passenger, but yet Elba could get up and walk around and negotiate with everyone.

I enjoyed the series, and basically anything Elba does. This would have been a great 3-4 episode series.

The episode the two prisoners were release had a long story already done in another show. They drive away and are followed by the police and get stopped at a railroad overpass. This after they had told the police to stop following them and like in the show, they passed by going out in the fields. Once in a wooded area they switch cars and the other set in the 2nd care drive away in the first car.

The prisoners leave in the second vehicle later. Just like in Hijack.

The other show was a British production also.

I enjoyed the series. The first few episodes hooked me. It fizzled out in the end.

I know the hijackers weren't your typical ones, but they all annoyed me what a bunch of pussies they acted like. Go hijack a plane with fake guns and one real one

I mean, I’m glad he made it, but Sam went full ruhtard the final 15 of the show. As soon as you get the girl talking to you, you make sure you have the copilot next to you. As soon as she opens the door it’s headshot and then copilot takes over. Him talking to her like that baffled me, only acceptable if both pilots are dead

Then them letting everyone off the plane so casually and just assuming they have the hijackers? Gtfo, every one of those people would’ve been detained and questioned

Still liked it overall!

Wife and I loved it. I'm a big Idris fan, so maybe that's why. Also, TV has just been bad for the past few years too.

Yeah I had a few issues with the finale for sure, but most have been mentioned. But all in all it was a solid show. It definitely should’ve been one or two episodes shorter, or a movie as I said early on in the thread.

That being said, I like it when these kinds of shows come out that have a planned finish, rather than trying to extend a show endlessly if it’s successful.

Loved the first episode, but it was way too long with filler episodes with the same theme. Spoilers:

Example - Sam lies/manipulates everyone to land in Hungary. Then halfway through the episode Sam lies/manipulates everyone to not land in Hungary. Just a waste. And yet hes still allowed free rein to move about the cabin and everyone still loves the dude.

I was mostly entertained, but it's a fairly dumb show. Pretty big step below Apple's top tiers - Severance/Slow Horses, etc.

We just finished last night. We really like the show, but I was really bummed on the finale and how it ended. It could’ve used one more episode.

So that guy was cool with Sam the whole time, but just goes and tries to kill him at the end?

Also, did they ever catch the guy they let go?

have to agree with consensus here, started out great but finished pretty bad.

How does the main hijacker go from realizing the jig is up and handing over the only loaded gun to Sam to then deciding Sam needed to die?

How are you not knocking that woman out the moment she unlocks the door and letting the co pilot take over? Why does she get immunity for murder but the dude that made the trade is getting arrested?

Sam is a corporate negotiator? That's disappointing.
