That's gonna be a nope for me. The original freaked me out way too much for me to watch any more of them.

The first two were not bad. 3 sort of went off the rails, though I did actually enjoy both 3 and Bloodline. All the rest after Bloodline were mostly more psychological thrillers than movies featuring Pinhead.

1 & 2 are very good. YMMV on the rest (e.g. 4 is ambitious, but I don't think it completely works, 5 is directed by Scott Derrickson, but is more psychological horror than the previous movies, 8 is probably only fun if you play video games and want to see a young Henry Cavill, etc.).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing during the trailer actually. I wasn't mad at it, and it almost makes sense given the subject matter.
I still have never seen the original start to finish (just seen different parts at different times and basically seen the whole movie). I did watch Hellraiser: Hellworld this past weekend. Well, I sort of watched it in fast forward because it was pretty terrible.
