Wish this wasn’t happening, Discovery is going to smear shite all over HBO which has by far the best streaming content. The combined platform will resemble Netflix, where you have to sift through tons of shite to find a quality show and money will be syphoned off from HBO projects to go to shitty reality TV.

Yeah, doesn't mention that. I would imagine it's the low shite tier.

This better mean they're going to fix that shitty UI they've been using with HBOMax

Their content gallery is unrivaled, but it's liking playing Operation while blackout drunk trying to navigate that cut-rate UI.

Edit: Cute downvotes, and congrats on enjoying the worst app interface in recorded history.

The most mismatched pairing of brands since Mercedes bought Chrysler.

I remember in jr high loving when we visited my grandparents because they had HBO and I always had a tv with cable in the guest room.

Just had to stay awake until the late night adult shows

HBO has a great library but am I the only one that feels like there isn't a whole lot going on content wise the last ~year? As in I could cancel it now and come back in 2 months and there might be 1 or 2 new things on there. Discovery can't hurt but won't add a whole lot for my tastes I would imagine.

Id most likely have canceled long ago if it wasn't included with my internet.

I cant say that I am jumping up and down about any of the new stuff. More black/woke shite but their library is very good in my opinion. They picked up some series from other channels and have them on Max. Plus their past library is huge and has some fantastic shows

I think it is the best streaming channel by far as far as total content

I hope it doesn’t lose any good shows. I was watching person of interest when it got yanked without warning from max. Thankfully freevee has it!

I get HBO for free and rarely watch outside of South Park. Adding in House Hunters will add some much needed class to the line up.

We get Discovery+ through our Verizon service for I think $6.99/month. I'm curious to see if this goes away, if they jack the price up, or what happens.

ETA...just Googled and saw that Discovery+ will stay as a standalone platform/service for the current price levels. That seems odd to have that content available on two different platforms.
