Yeah it crashed between episodes of Band of Brothers last night. Haven’t tried any different show/movie though.

Have you tried restarting the device you are using? I have a Sony smart TV with Android TV and the HBO Max app is starting to suck. Most of the time I can Force Stop the app, then it will be fine. Sometimes I need to restart my TV.

The HBOMAX app is the only app that I routinely have issues with crashing or constant loading. It does not matter what TV or device I use.

Yeah mine crashes if I'm not starting something from the beginning. Also, Saturday all the home screen categories was kid's cartoons and none of the HBO, TMC, DC stuff was on there unless it was on My List. Watched something from My List for an hour and the home screen was back to normal.

I get that message somewhat frequently and either completely reboot the app, or sign out of my username and sign back in again...or both. Have never had it not work after doing one or both of those. The signing in and out of account seems to work the best for me.

I called and spoke with an HBOmax rep because mine kept messing up. She said my Android tv (Phillips) wasn’t supported for the app. Told me to use a fire stick or some other way to access HBOmax. Once I did that, it runs a lot smoother.

Similar problem here, constant crashing on an older tablet, a bit better on the phone and desktop but it is still the worst streaming app I have ever used.

I just started it last week. Running it through prime on a Samsung and a Vizio. It runs smooth, but I can't find Gomorah in Prime's HBO listings. Don't see a link, like on the HBO Max site, to the TMC or DC stuff on Prime. The movies may be listed, I never really looked for them.
