Love the series and glad they didn't make Kate a kung foo expert. Getting tired of seeing 90lb girls take on roomfuls of big henchmen without much effort. Her and Clint are getting their asses kicked throughout.

I am pissed that Marvel released such a shitty Black Widow movie that was completely devoid of Clint. They could have done a prequel around Clint hunting Natasha or simply put Clint into the movie. We were robbed watching the two of them in their own vehicle.

Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home pretty much tells you that the MCU isn't dying down any time soon.

Two of the best MCU releases of all-time and both are dropped at the same time. Crazy.

We've gotten Wandavision, Loki, Hawkeye, and No Way Home and they have all been elite with No Way Home being at or close to the pinnacle of perfection.

Can't wait for more threads on how the MCU is f'ed

They can make bad series or films when you get a return like Spiderman and Hawkeye and Multiverse of Madness should be great

Doesn't absolve them of bad ones like The Eternals and I have a feeling Echo is going to be terrible

Eternals wasnt really horrible and Echo will probably be great considering it will be in the spirit of Daredevil and will be a full reintro of Daredevil himself.

Plus echo can fight her arse off

They made up for that by giving us Yelena. She is absolutely fricking hilarious.

The big difference is that, if you don't stop Thanos, there is no other option. When death is certain, you're not afraid of it. With Kingpin, he makes it personal.

Eternals is far from bad. The introduction of the celestials was incredible. I have a feeling it will be a movie that is played back in 10 years and be very important kinda like Age of Ultron.

Echo is gonna be great with Daredevil and Kingpin making appearances no doubt

Clint took on Thanos to get his family back.
Clint not going after Kingpin is to keep his family (specifically Laura?)off of Kingpin‘s radar.

Seems consistent

that scene was perfection. The scene with the phone call between clint and his son and Kate. Very emotional. I also love seeing an actual avenager be human and vunerable

I agree with both of these. I've really enjoyed getting to know Clint better in this series. He's always been "the other guy" until now.

Hawkeye was always the forgotten Avenger. I was skeptical that he could carry his own show, but I've been very pleasantly surprised. Jeremy Renner is an underrated actor and he and Hailee Steinfeld have impeccable comic timing. Having Yelena make an appearance was a great way to end the first season.

I'd be willing to bet he didnt even watch the whole series.

And all I said was it takes a dump on FATWS because it’s that much better. You are the one who took that as me saying FATWS was awful. It wasn’t awful, Hawkeye just takes a dump on it. That’s how much I’m enjoying it

Yeah I just find it funny that Clint thus far has facing off against Aliens, Robots, and a Mad Titan; but the Kingpin scares him.

Just goes to show the level of respect they are putting on Wilson Fisk's name.

Back in the day when I was a young comics reader, Hawkeye was always one of my favorites. He was the guy who didn't really have any superpowers, but could still hang with them because of his almost superhuman accuracy and his array of specialty arrows. I think they've done a good job with him in this series. Even the changes from the early comics - in them Clint had matinee idol looks, and was very brash, always bucking Cap's leadership - are well thought out and well executed.

I'm not sure. I would assume so, because it looks like they're setting things up for Kate to assume the role of Hawkeye, as she does in the comic, but I haven't seen anything confirming a second season.

Fun fact. She is 23 years older than her sister Taissa
I watched Final Girls around Halloween, and when I saw her name in the credits I assumed she was Vera’s daughter. My mind was blown after I looked her up.

It's not that unusual.

My niece was born when her mother (my sister-in-law) was 17. She's now 22 years older than her sister.
