Revive the Foundation thread if it means that much to you. I’ll stick to Potter stuff in a Potter thread.

Plus I’ve already gone over this stuff. Weird grip for you but that’s a you thing.

The thread you've brought up Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Star Wars in?

You support DEI when it's a show you want to watch. At least you know

Apparently I’m not alone in my thought

It’s crazy how much Harry looks like a 20 year old woman

My wife and I both think he looks soooooo much younger than 11. They all do. Our 9 and 7 year olds look older than the cast

That's probably a good thing honestly that they look younger now so they don't look like 25 year old's by the end of the series.

Guess I’m not the purest like some others.

Feel free to flame on those other shows as you like.

Agreed. Nick Frost looks who I imagined Hagrid. Robbie Coltrane always sounded like how I imagined Hagrid. But just because Frost’s new Hagrid voice is softer doesn’t matter that much. He looks like Hagrid. Good enough for me.

Nick Frost usually plays the lovable frick up well. Hagrid is a lovable frick up.

Few people know that Harry has a second lightning bolt scar on his forehead, right next to his other one….

Seems like doing different characters would’ve been better. People will always see the characters as the original actors

This. I almost feel like I will not be able to watch this fairly just because of nostalgia for all of the original actors. It may be really well done, but all I'm going to be able to think is "that's not Maggie fricking Smith".

don't understand the point of this series. it's the same characters and same timeline as the movies. We already know what happens to them during this time period.

Did you read the books? There were 25 page chapters that had to be reduced to 15 second clips in the movies. I think the point is to be able to expand on all of the minutiae and subtlety that made the books great

The show is cooked, they’re now saying the story will be altered which I tried to tell people would happen. It’s going to be another shite show
