Really excited for this - I grew up with Harry Potter and was a massive fan of the books growing up. Never liked the movies though, really hoping this series can make up for that.

Black Snape is so dumb. Change a McGonagall, Lupin, etc. The Snape arc and his relationship with Harry is so key to the story, that I REALLY hope it’s not affected by the casting (but in this day and age I’m not sure how it can’t be changed). Really mystifying.

Others have noted the lighting as well.

The amount of time you spend on a message board tearing things down that you have no interest in is fricking pathetic. You really should do some self evaluation.

I don't give two shits about your receipts and even less about your opinion on anything. I think you are a pathetic person and in my over 20 years on the site the single most annoying poster I have ever come across.

I fricking hate the Snape casting but I'm not gonna shite all over the whole show and ruin every thread on the site about the show because of it. I don't do this because I am not a loser who has nothing else going on his life and has to get his joy from ruining things for others, unlike you.

The only ones ruining what others love are the studios race, gender swapping known & established characters or retconning things to fit a fictional *modern audience *.

You just hate it when others point it out to you.

Glad to be of service.

Or what?

I read the books, watched the movies, played (dominated) Hogwarts Legacy…

I’ll say what I want.

I knew your arse hadn't even read the books. Just in here white knighting for source you're not even familiar with probably just because your neckbeard online guy you worship said he was upset.

You'll bitch about Snape and post twitter links because they are showing "cannon that happened off page" but I certainly watched Foundation despite the creators openly saying they race and gender swapped for DEI purposed and the majority of the show was made up and completely off source/canon. But hey, you liked that show so those DEI changes and smack in the face to the source doesn't matter right?

All they have to do to not frick this up is cast a male Voldy

Wasn’t there a rumor circulating a while back that they were at least toying with the idea of making Voldemort a female character, or at least androgynous and played by a female actor?

No role is safe. Case in point is Meryl Streep as Aslan in the Narnia reboot.

Yes the first two films are by far my favorite because they are whimsical and capture the child like wonder of the story. It got a little bit too dark and brooding later.

Non-book reader but I appreciated and liked how the films became more well made and the tone changed as they got older and the stakes increased. I was shocked at how good some of the mid-later films were considering it was a kids story (and how the first 2 movies started). I could not have finished if they were all like the first couple.

You’re a child.

I loved pointing out parts where JK clearly ripped off (was inspired by) parts of LotR, but I digress.

Chad compliment, if anything.

But seriously , how does that have anything to do with anything?
