took me 4 episodes to realize Miss Glass is the same chick from Crawl, Maze Runner, and the last Pirates.
I thought she was Emma Stone for a minute

have two episodes left, and I've really enjoyed it. I never saw the movie, but I will watch it this weekend because of how much I enjoyed the series.

The movie is great.

Loved the movie, loved this series.

Was half expecting Matthew McConaughey to come out of nowhere and be the winning bid in the end thus killing hopes for a season 2 lol

Would’ve been a killer way to end it if it were a miniseries

General rule is to watch the movie first, then the series.

Correct?

I'm not doing that. I'm diving right in with the series.

That Kaya chick is devastating.

That really doesn't matter here. The series is essentially a remake in show form.

its just the same universe with references to the time, culture, and environment But a different separate storyline than the movie

at least Season 1

We finished last night. I thought it was great. Fiance’ hated the ending. Her gripe was that the whole point of everything the Duke did was to get out of the business then all of a sudden in the last episode he decides he wants to take it over? I guess she has a point. She hasn’t seen the movie, I tried to tell her ahead of time that he’s going to take it over because he still has it in the movie lol

Also, I can’t believe they didn’t kill Jimmy after all of his frick ups. He must be a damn good botanist

I started watching this one Saturday after seeing this thread and made it through Episode 7.

Excellent series and can't wait to see Episode 8 tonight!

I watched the movie last night, while it was good, I preferred the series. I believe this is because the series gave more time for character development.

Finished the series tonight. It was very enjoyable and an entertaining watch.

All the characters were good and played their roles well. They all added something to the series.

Really hope they do a season two. I think it laid a good foundation for where it could go next and expand.

Finished the series last night. I’m a sucker for Guy Ritchie and this did not disappoint. Well done.

Started this last night with the wife. We've never seen the movie. It kinda reminded me of Peaky Blinders which is a good thing. Enjoying the characters and the twists.

Wife and I just binged this and we loved it. Very fun show. The cast was great. The brother was hilarious and James should be the next Bond. Bring on more seasons.
