Just saw it. Better than 2, not as good as 1, but a worthy end to the current team.

I don't think it was better than the first two, but it was a good movie and a solid end to Gunn's trilogy. Definitely the best Marvel-produced film since Endgame.

Agreed. I absolutely love it and my kids do too so it's on in the background regularly. Lot's of great moments in it and the soundtrack was a perfect fit.

Interesting to see the division of folks who really like or don't like this movie.
I've not seen it yet.
General consensus is that it's well made, which is a positive for any CG movie of late. Definitely has a different tone than the first 2, but still falls within the realm of a GotG vibe.
Those who like it say it's clearly the best *MCU movie since End Game.
*Spiderman No Way Home being exempt, being a Sony production.

This is where I’m at. I rank them 1,2 and 3 but they’re all very good.

1, 2, 3 would be my ranking as well.
1 was able to make us care about a tree, racoon, green girl, stupid blue guy, and a manchild. The first teaser for that movie was treated as a joke but by the time the first trailer came out, I think everyone was on board. It looked fun and it delivered despite the opening of the movie literally being a kid watching his mom die of cancer...
While 2 and 3 both had way better villains, I still have to give the nod to 1 for bringing the team together in a fun way and basically bringing fun to the MCU for better or worse.

Guardians 1 also did very well showing us how powerful the infinity stones were and why Thanos getting them would be a bad thing

3 is the best and probably the best thing Marvel has done since Endgame outside of Loki.

Liked what they did with Rocket, Mantis and Drax were ok but the rest of the movie was bad.
