I don't watch the show but this is quite impressive. It's rare to see a primetime network drama get so many seasons of life.

I have no idea who is still watching this show.. Or just about any show on network television for that matter.

Didn't Law and Order get 20 seasons?

Wife watches all these hospital shows.

If one didn’t know better, one would think there’s some sort of agenda afoot with the high percentage of homosexual characters in these.

Just means network tv is crap and ratings matter less. NBC decided to pull the plug on ER when it's ratings got around to what Grey's has been getting for a decade now.

My wife watches the hell out of this show.

I can't stop getting drawn in while I'm on my laptop in the same room.

I've not watched a single episode of this show and don't know anyone who watches or admits to watching it, but 20 seasons is impressive.

I just don’t get how it isn’t totally stale 20 seasons in. It’s almost a soap at this point?

Put that poor thing out of its misery. I bailed about 6-7 seasons in.

The storylines, yeah. But they usually rip interesting medical events from recent headlines, so that helps to keep it a bit fresh.

Damn. My wife and I watched the first couple seasons back like 15 years ago. After a few seasons we lost interest. By that time the storylines were already getting goofy and the characters had all started fricking each other.

Is there an actor who has been with the show the whole run? I’ve never seen a second of it, but say an actor has been on there, and gets about $250K an episode. Putting that away for 20 years you basically made yourself a small fortune

Wife has watched all of them

Everytime I walk in it’s either an interracial or gay couple doing something with the Artic Monkeys playing in the background

Several. We watched for about 13 seasons or so. It eventually became a medical show where all the doctors were sleeping with each other. We quit watching and are amazed it's still on especially since the Meredith Grey character is gone.

This was a really good show for about 6 seasons. Been a steady decline since then and I stopped around season 10. It's hard to imagine that was just the halfway point.
