This might be considered a hot take, but outside the first time I watched it, I haven't had a strong desire to watch it again unlike GotG, Thor 3, Infinity War, etc.

Best Marvel Movie for me. And Thor Ragnarok most overrated

Arguably the most overrated movie of all time.

Guardians I is my favorite but I'll admit that WS is probably a better movie.

Like most comic book films, the third act is a bit weak.
You kidding me? The scene where Cap is giving the speech over the PA system at Shield and everyone starts slowly reaching for their guns and watching each other is outstanding.

It’s a very, very good movie. But it’s not perfect.
Still, it’s a top 5 Marvel flick even after all the really good ones that came after it. The action scenes shot (along with the ones in John Wick) are how all action scenes should be shot. Creativity, fluidity, full of minute details while observing all of the actual fighting take place in a wide angle.
Perfect action sequences. Not a perfect movie though. But a damn fine one

Preach, brother, preach. Like many others I am tired of hyper edited action scenes shot so close in you can't tell what the hell is going on and who is doing what.

The opening fight scenes on the boat transformed Cap into one of my fav superheroes. The First Avenger had pissed me off, and this corrected it.

So many great lines that just help cement Cap's character.
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: What about lydia?
Steve Rogers: Lip ring? Ya, I'm not ready for that.
Steve Rogers: Trust is what makes an army, not a bunch of guys running around shooting guns.
Nick Fury: The last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye.
Georges Batroc: I thought you were more than just a shield.
Steve Rogers: Let's see.
Steve Rogers: The price of freedom is high... and it's a price I'm willing to pay.
Steve Rogers: Before we get started, does anyone wanna get out?

Really wish we had gotten another standalone Cap movie with Evans. CW was no where near as good as WS.

My only complaint about WS is that they took the red, white and blue out of his uniform and always call him Cap or Captain not CAPTAIN AMERICA. I know it's done for foreign marketing but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Cap is what his friends call him. A nickname.
Sam does says "Captain America needs my help. No better reason to get back in."
And I echo the sentiments that it is the best Marvel movie. If it's on, I watch it. Every time. In a time where anti-heroes are more popular, it's good to have a paragon character. He and Spider-Man have always been my favorite super heroes. They better give Cap his moment in End Game.

Did you even watch the movie?
He's referred to as Captain America several times and he wears his original uniform in the climax.
