Gotdamn...Captain America: Winter Soldier may be the perfect movie

Not saying the best, but it absolutely hits all the right notes, blends genres seamlessly, and is an incredibly entertaining film.

Easily the best Marvel film.
You could present that exact same film, with almost no tweaks, without any super heroes as a straight up spy thriller.

It really is. The only Marvel movies that compete with it are Iron Man, the GOTG movies, and Thor: Ragnorak

You could say the same thing about Deadpool and X-Men: Days of Future Past, but it’s still Marvel brought to you by fox. It’s really not the same thing.

Winter soldier goes right next to Batman the dark night and wonder woman as my favorite comic movies and the original spiderman right behind them for entertainment value in my book. Honorable mention: Dead pool 1

Yeah it’s a great movie.
I put it right up there with Iron Man and GotG as the best. The lack of a great villain and the weak finale of IM probably puts WS a notch above for me.

"Do any of you want to get off before we get started?" That is one of the best quotes in movie history because Cap means it. If any of those agents want to get off the elevator he'll let them, no hard feelings. He's not bragging, he sincerely doesn't want to hurt them.
Winter Soldier is a movie that is exactly what it sets out to be. It hits all its marks, it doesn't try to be something it isn't, and it delivers the goods.
Is it the greatest movie of all time? No. But it is damn entertaining.

My favorite MCU flick just because of how grounded it is.
Bucky as a villain here is legit the only villain in any MCU movie that puts any fear in me. He's a fleshy Terminator. It's great.

WS is one of the most rewatchable MCU films made. It is so good.
