Just imagine how freaked they are when Brandon Stark releases the news that Jon Snow is truly Jon Targaryn!!

You have to consider there will be two more riders... I believe it will be Snow and Bran will control the other like he does his Dire Wolf and the Birds above.

I've been waiting for that scene since those little dragons hatched from those eggs. It didn't disappoint and it was disturbing.

Tyrion watched Dany burn it to the ground and it was obvious he was conflicted. Dany could easily become as ruthless as any leader he could ever imagine with such power. When he climbed that hill and his countenance changed it gave me chills for real.

What Dany did was no different than what Aegon the Conquer did.

I agree and for me it was with the end of Season 5 when the writing started going to shite.

Been too few episodes worth a shite since. Watching Rikon run in a straight line like that was as stupid as anything I believe I have ever seen on television. Watching Snow not imitate what Rikon should be doing as he ran towards him was as responsible for his death as Rikon himself. Shite just got lazy.

Decisions by characters started to not make sense and the dialogue, man the cringy dialogue.

Agreed. That is why Tyrion was so disturbed as he watched it all unfold. I was disturbed watching it.

The danger is like imitating real life. When someone has absolute power it can corrupt absolutely. That is what Tyrion is thinking on that hill and listening to the savage Dothraki mock his countrymen. Very surreal.

I was "team Dany" in the early season, but then when she started getting all "bow the knee" I knew she was turning. It will take Jon Snow to bring her back to the light or they all will burn or die at the hand of the Night King.

Besides a couple of episodes, season six was strong. This season has been amazing so far

Can't disagree more, sorry.

Up to this point the show made me want to stop watching.

Then why don't you? Since you think most of the episodes will suck.

Didn't say will, we should have some great ones. Go to places and fights we only dreamed of previously.

Just the writing in terms of character motives, decision by characters, dialogue and just simply the way some of these episodes are edited take you of the immersion.

The show was great for 4.5 season and we had great sparks in Season 6, but man sometimes in last season it didn't make any damn sense.

Just have to say, that was one hell of a sandbar Jaime fell off.

Horses hooves were barely a few inches in the water, Bronn tackles him off the horse, now he's sinking about 60 feet.

Strange tides in Westeros.

Was thinking the same thing myself. If it were shallow?? Oh, he be gone pecan--a burnt one that is.

I have no idea how he is going to escape his capture now.

How are they going to incorporate three dragons into a scene eventually? Three dragons after what I saw and she will truly be Lord of the Ashes indeed.

curious as to what Jamie's message/advice will be to Cersei m

Eh

Not thinking he's going to be seeing Cersie anytime soon.

He'll likely be captive unless that body of water somehow allows escape.

Can't wait for him and Tyrion to meet up. Wonder if they hatch some plan to bring down Cersie? Although she still has to do something that will push Jamie there. Won't happen as things stand now.

Although I guess another option is Tyrion turning if he fears Danny becoming her father and freeing Jamie. I'd put that at a much lower probability

Little Finger has got to die at some point. Which is why Bran gave her the dagger.

Pretty sure the only thing left from the season trailer is Jon in the north. I'd guess we probably have a lot of focus up there because honestly everything is probably all but done after the carnage on that field tonight. Just a matter of if we see a battle or not up there or the wall falling.

I rewatched it. As much as I loved it, there were at least 3 trick camera angles that made you think it was a single take. While wonderfully directed, not on the same level as that take. That knocked me on my arse the second I saw it. That may be the single best take in television history, so it's not an insult to this one.

Haven't seen Jamie like that the entire series. Pure fear. The realization that you are nothing and will be nothing. That a woman can ride a dragon and tell it to burn a city to the ground. They aren't just stories anymore

Loved how they set up the "different levels" of war experience various characters were at...

Bronn and Jamie giving that one night a little "rookie razzing" regarding what combat was really like... only to have Dany fly in the very next scene and lay waste to everything they thought they knew.
