I think the WW are all wargs like Bran or least have similar powers so they do think/control them. Also the NK seems to have greenseer abilities like Bran which could mean he was okay with them taking the wight because he can see parts of the time like the future.

Well I meant strength wise. In season one he parried the Mountain even though he had a great sword. Matchup wise Oberyn was perfect because he was smaller and quicker but the Mountain was big and slow.

Main thing I read was the meeting. I asked my friends how that was going to go down. I'm a little happy I have an answer for that now that I have to wait 11 days to watch it.

So a big question going around the internet is why did the Night King surround Jon's raiding party and then wait so long to attack. I thought it logical to assume that the Night King is even more powerful than the Three-Eyed Raven. Therefore he knew dragons would be making their way north to rescue them. He (and this is me just theorizing here) needs a dragon to bring down the Wall. Jon and Dany played right into his hands.

I thought it was obvious. When the wights started attacking they were falling in the water then stopped. They made it clear the 7 were there at least 2 days and the water froze again. Once the hound threw the rock it was brought to their attention they could walk on the ice
