Anybody think there is some hidden meaning to "The Seven"? Like the seven gods and each guy represents one of them. I don't know why but that was the first thing that popped in my head during that final scene.

Well Gendry would be the Smith and I think the Hound could be the Stranger, but none of the others really match up as far as I can tell.

Maybe Nymeria and her pack could eat littlefinger.

(Not a spoiler, have never heard that. It is just a thought).

Where do you think Sam is headed? I'm thinking Winterfell but not sure.

He's definitely heading to Winterfell because that's where he thinks Jon is and that's where his information can be turned into great deeds. If he had heard about his dad and Dickon he might have stopped to see his mom first, but he didn't so definitely going to see Jon.

I never even go to the Hodor thread any more and I've never read the books. I've seen every episode at least 3 times and read and watched enough lore I'm at least Davos level now.

Book and Show Jamie aren't the same character. I'm not a fan of it but it is what it is. Just get over it man.

Or, perhaps in the books, should they ever been written, this is actually Jamie's story arc. He seems to be redeeming himself only to fall back into this with Cersi at some point.

I'm pretty sure Euron is euro-trash enough to impregnate women just by being in the room with them.

I don't think so he still called it an incredible beast after that - so not sure if he fully grasps that aspect of the dragons yet

See..i disagree. I dont think hes ever advanced as a character from a morality standpoint. The same guy that pushed a child out of a window to keep him from telling the world that he fricked his own sister is the same guy that killed the king because he didnt want him to burn innocents. He is also the one that actually accepts Tyrion. Hes like 50/50 decent and awful, and he has never really stepped off the fence to either yard.

I'll be shocked if Beric lives.

I don't think he lives either. I think his flaming sword is actually Lightbringer and Jon gets ahold of it after he is killed.

Remember the prophecy states something like Azor Ahai will be reborn as the Prince Who Was Promised and will use Lightbringer to lead the war against the Great Other.

can we now revisit the question of whether Jon bent the knee?

He declared himself a king in the maproom when he told Dany he did not need her permission to leave.

Bannermen (nor Wardens of the North) do not say that to a sovereign to whom they have sworn fealty.

Beric's sword is nothing special and he actually has to get another on after each battle (or at least Thoros does when he lights his sword on fire). All he does is dips it in wildfyre and lights it up.

Gendry- smith
Hound- the maiden (protected Sansa and Arya)
Jon-The father (as a king and leader has sentenced people to death)
Beric-the stranger (hes died multiple times)
Throros- the crone (visions in the flame)
Jorah- The Mother (protects Dany, has also been an example of mercyfrom Dany and it working)
tormund-the Warrior

Yeah it's a real stretch but it was kind of fun to try and do it

Assuming that aria didn't look at that note and immediately think, that's not my sisters hand writing. She's not so naïve, I would hope, as to be fooled by littlefinger so easily.

Who are the two barbarians? Jorah and The Hound are both knights.

I actually think you make a great point. I am just speaking to the frustration that he is not redeeming himself as some think is his story arc in the books.

The Hound isn't a knight and actively hates them due to his brother.
