Maybe.
I think who the dragons do or dont kill is being overthought. So far they have not killed people friendly to dany. They have killed people who are active threats to dany or if dany wanted them to kill like the Tarleys.
I don't think bloodline is how they decide to dole out violence.

There's a difference between not killing and submission/letting someone get close to them.

Nope. Things aren't looking good for Gendry in the preview for next week.
That's the Hound swinging Gendry's hammer.

Will they fight over this? Don't know that yet. There needed to be some plot device that exposes LF and opens him up to being taken out. Maybe his plan blows up in his face an Arya takes him out. If he continued to do nothing and gave them no reason to kill him then nothing would happen and it would be boring.

Definitely Jorah. He got to see his queen one last time.
I agree that it makes sense from a classic literary sense, but we saw Grey Worm get a death-bound send off and he's still kicking. So, maybe not. Maybe Jorah lives to see the restoration of his house, now led (although quite capably on the show) by literally a little girl.
I think - at some point - the Hound has to die. But most foreshadowing in the novels has suggested he needs to face his brother one last time. As I said earlier, Beric is already dead in the novels and without Beric, Thoros doesn't have a clear role (although if Melisandre doesn't come back, he has THAT role).
Gendry could go, as the Baratheon line seems to be irrelevant at this point. I'll stick with my earlier - Beric/Thoros and maybe Thormund. I think the rest live - at least for now.
And where TF is Ghost?

I just want to say that the pace at which everything is happening now is almost taking me out of the show. I can't believe all the shite that went down in last night's episode, and by the time the episode ended, I couldn't remember half of it.
There's no reason for them to up the pace THIS MUCH, unless they're just ready to wrap it up.

I think budget and deadlines drive this - forces that don't seem to work on GRRM.

We had a Ghost shout-out by Sansa this episode.
He's chilling in Winterfell, waiting on Jon.

Thats fair.
I still don't think that means its bloodline related, but considering that gives a bit more credence.
So far I just see it as they can tell who is a strong ally/person of great importance

So, Jon is afraid (budget won't allow) Ghost will get killed if he takes him on this ranging?

Maisie Williams is playing her just a little too psycho. Her dominant lesbian persona is getting annoying.
Arya is somewhat psychologically damage from her experience but it doesn't make her wrong about Sansa not defending Jon against Robitt fricking Glover. The same Robitt Glover who hid behind his castle during the battle of bastards. The same guy who later openly regrets not fighting in the battle. Then declaring Jon KoTN swearing his loyalty. Now, Jon is gone a few weeks away and he wants Jon replaced? Sansa should've slapped him instead of "listening to his complaints". Dude has no place to talk.

There is also a scene of Gendry swinging the hammer later in the trailer.

A dragon's reaction to Jon has been crackpotted for years, way before R+L=J was confirmed. it wasn't a leap at all to guess that was gonna happen.
And the guy has been a member less than a year. Is he your fricking alter or something?

Well, Drogon nearly sniffed the boiled leather off of Jon smelling that dragon blood.

Meh. Jon not having Ghost with him actually makes sense. Why would he have taken him to Dragonstone with him when he figured there was a 50/50 chance he wouldn't leave there alive?

I don't think the pace makes it too hard to keep up as much as it makes it' obvious they are taking short cuts like we are just supposed to assume Tyrion found Bronn to set up the meeting.

There aren't many good reasons to give us 2 short seasons vs. 2 full seasons. I would guess the problem might be that they've run out of source material since GRRM is so far behind on the books and they don't want to stray too far from the outline. Hearing the post show discussion they talked about wanting to bring Gendry back into the story and Davos was bringing Tyrion back to KL so it was a "natural fit". As if they had an outline plot point that said "Gendry returns before Jon goes to Eastwatch" but no details on how that happens.

The dragon was just chillin by the defeated lannister army, not killing them even though they were currently enemies.
He seems to have a nearly psychic connection with Dany. Like he can sense her moods and attitudes.
When only about half the Lannisters/Tarleys bent the knee, he, with no visible prompting from Dany, told the rest of them to bend the fricking knee right fricking now.

Yeah, he either sensed Dany was displeased and what she was displeased about and/or he knows English and was following the conversation. That was one of the cooler moments of the episode. Drogon looked huge in the background and then he showed he's not just a dumb beast.
