i am embarrassed to admit that using drogon as rapid transit back to the north never occurred to me
that would be badass
I assumed the preview scene where Jon had info from Bran came via raven until it was pointed out a raven was never mentioned
"Bran saw the Night King and his army marching towards Eastwatch"
He has to get that info somehow and be back at Dragonstone all in one episode. Jon doesn't even know Bran has visions yet right? I guess he'll need to get his creepy psychic reading in person first before he can start making war plans with allies based on what Bran says he saw.

His interpretation would be that Bran was in Eastwatch when he saw the Night King. Not that he had sudden belief in Bran's superpowers.

There are still people in this thread posting "theories" that are 100% in line with those leaks, and that's not coincidental. You can tell by the tone of how they "are just throwing this out there" and bullshite like that. People suck.
Plenty of this in going on in r/gameofthrones and r/asoiaf

Im pretty sure Jon was holding a raven sized note in that scene around the war table. Simplest explanation is it was a raven delivered message.

I'm not saying trailers can't be cut together in misleading ways, but in the preview as Jon is saying "Bran saw" they showed Bran's eyes going white as he warged into a raven flying over the Night King's army. Sure it's possible Bran sent a raven to Dragonstone with a message saying that's what he saw implying traditional vision, in fact that was my first assumption, but the trailer seems to be pushing a different angle.

*tinfoil* bran warged into the raven and sees the horde apporaching eastwatch, and instead of simply carrying a message, just flaps on over to dragonstone and speaks to him (afterall, dragonstone is due south of eastwatch), thus proving to jon and the rest that bran aint fricking around with his powers. After all, the original ravens didnt carry messages, they spoke the messages.

Warged from the Raven into a person at East watch, writes the message, warges back into the Raven then heads to Dragonstone. Gives the note to Jon then warges into Drogon. Flys as Drogon back to east watch but not before stopping and roasting a coop full of chickens to deliver to the hound.

Has this been posted yet? Sorry if so.

Are we 100% sure this ain't Drogon?
Aegon himself only rode Balerion...I don't see Daeny offering her mount to Jon.
Eta: and his reaction to Jon looks to be the same one I get from Mrs. 19's Great Dane if I approach her too quickly. Jon just needs to cock that thump finger at his nose...works for me.

It looks like Drogon to me if you look at the horns, the tongue, etc. compared to this gif.

I agree.
The dual spine rows down back of neck scream Drogon, too.
Rhaegal n Viserion only had one row each...IIRC.
Man, Idk...
Looks like same image templet used on all three...

My question is will Dany grant Jon a dragon to go North and defend the Wall? Seems like it would come in handy.
