I noticed that. I thought she was about to propose marriage and then they cut to them walking out of the cave together side by side like they were together.
Dany wants to rule Westeros. Jon just wants to build alliances against the Night King.
A wedding would put Jon on the Iron Throne. He didn't even want to be Lord Commander, much less King in the North, let alone King of the 7 Kingdoms.
And somehow I don't think Dany intended to cross the Narrow Sea with 3 dragons and a host of Dothraki, just to become a First Lady version of queen. Not when it's her armies and dragons putting them in charge.
But Jon has shown that if you force him to lead, he WILL take command of the situation, and not bow to outside influence.
It's kinda funny in a way- he knows the White Walkers are coming. If he bends the knee, he'd meet her request, and I think he's learning that she'd fulfill her pledge and come North with her forces. And the Northern houses won't care one bit about bending knees etc once the Wall is breached; they'd cheer Cersei if she rode North with a bunch of scorpion ballista mounted on big chariots, with wildfire catapults etc, looking like something out of a medieval Mad Max film.
All he needs to do is say "if you want to fricking live, this is the way". It's been his message for a couple seasons now, don't see where it's suddenly hard for him to follow through.
And honestly- what's left for him to ask? With dragons he can easily defend the Wall, and the Dothraki cavalry can clean up any zombie hordes that break through. And he has so much dragon glass, he can make a zillion arrowheads and blades to arm everyone. They actually could go on the offensive north of the Wall if they were joined, and you eliminated the Cersei threat.

Isn't Sansa still technically married to Tyrion? I know it wasn't consummated, not sure how that all goes.
And if Jaime and Cersei die, that would tie the Stark and Lannister houses together.

In fact, I'd be shocked if Arya doesn't end up marrying Gendry if both happen to survive the winter.
She was pissed enough at Gendry leaving to put Mel, Thoros, and Beric on her list so I think she felt something for him.

Why are some of you assuming Gendry is for sure coming back? The guy with the war hammer in the trailer could be someone else and there's no other indication he's coming back.
