This thread has been surprise attacked by Comotose Khal Drogos

What castle is that in the background? Is she back on Dragonstone, or is Jon on the mainland now?
I assume that's Dragonstone when she returns from the Loot Train Attack because also in the preview is Jon, Davos, Tyrion and Dany at the map table in the War Room at Dragonstone where Jon said he got a raven from Bran about the White Walkers attacking Eastwatch.

Yup, Daenerys is trying to show how big her dick is. Jon is probably like whatever, I saw the Night King raise a thousand people from the dead.
Jon's probably also thinking "oh man, this dragon is going to be real helpful against the Night King"

quote:So she's back, not on the mainland. Interesting, as the Dothraki are almost certainly not getting back on the boats.
Almost certain that's Dragonstone.
I'd think that suggests a siege in place, or at least a ground campaign, with someone other than her in charge. Tyrion is the obvious choice. He stood next the the Dothraki on the hill, a pretty obvious general's position.
If Tyrion, I'd say siege and blockade, not storming KL. That was his advice.
Dany provided air cover for the ships providing the transport over to the mainland (smart move since Euron is out there). They found the Lannister army out in the field, and chose to engage... as compared to intentionally seeking them out. She again chose to deploy the airstrike option.
So they won that battle, and I think she gives the defeated army the option of surrender and pledging fealty, instead of massacring or imprisoning them. Then apparently is convinced that Tyrion is able to lead them, maintain their loyalty, and remains loyal himself (only way I could see anyone leaving him in charge).
Go back to Dragonstone for the other dragons to rejoin her forces in the South?
Or to pick Jon up and head North?

Apologies for posting a single unsubstantiated theory in 69 page long thread. The horror

Think they'll be sieging or attacking KL since they are so close to it already.
Jamie could be used as a bargaining tool to get his sister to surrender and when she threatens to burn the city down to the ground he kills her

It's not a theory, it's just dumb.
Stick with the gluesniffers in the hodor thread

Not bad

I don't know any spoilers, I just think that Jon is talking after actually meeting with Bran, after they fly back North.
Seriously- consider the message a raven would bring:
Jon, I have good news. Bran is alive and has returned to Winterfell. But he's weird now, he says he's the Three Eyed Raven, his eyes occasionally turn white, and he claims to see everything. He's saying a lot of stuff that is creeping me the frick out, including details about the night Ramsay raped me. Anyway, he just tripped out again, and says he sees the Night King is marching on Eastmarch.
By the way, Arya is also back. Talking about lists of people she will kill, and it looks like she actually means to do it. I remember she hated me the last time we were together, I don't know if she's going to poison me or cut my throat in my sleep. She used to like you, so it would be nice if you can talk some sense into her.
Hope your meeting is going well with the dragon girl. Come back soon. Your loving sister,
Sansa
I don't know that I'd share that message with anyone other than maybe Davos

LOL that is 100% Dragonstone.
Some Hodor's have slipped into the MAESTER thread.
It's all good. Just a tad funny.
I thought it was Dragonstone too, but was making sure. Jon, Dany and a dragon are within a few hundred yards of it, so it's very important to note which one it is. If it was KL, then Jon came over to the mainland. If it's anywhere else, the only answer is air travel, and most likely after another win (might not be onscreen battle next time). That significantly changes character paths.

quote:How is that not obvious though? She is the only person with an Air Force that is packing mini nuclear bombs. I would have flow around to find Euron's fleet and burned it first though. That would have taken out Cersei's military force completely at that point.
Perhaps if Dany had someone like Barristan Selmy still would her he would have advised something like this but she has no real military strategist.

My left field hunch is that it was actually Jorah, finally returning to his queen. He could have made the charge seeing his queen being attacked and not wanting to risk Drogan not noticing before Jaime gets to Danny with his lance. Or he could have realized it was Jaime charging and known that he was more valuable as a living prisoner than as another torched soldier, saving him to be a bargaining chip. It would be the second time he gifted a Lannister to his queen. And it could lead off next episode mimicking his pulling Tyrion from the waters in Valyria.

So I asked this in the other thread, but does Tyrion understand Dothraki? Maybe he learned some since he became hand, and some degree of communication may be needed.
Also, I'm a little surprised nobody is talking about Dany's legendary dragon riding ability. She would be great at riding a mechanical bull.

What if Euron surprise attacks Dany's fleet on their way to Dragonstone? It's not likely/won't happen but if it did the melt here would be glorious.

I like Bronn but think he should have probably checked out this week.
Him still in feels like fan service.

I swear, I am always shocked at some of the people just coming out of the left field bleachers with shite like this.
It was 100% Bronn. The rider had long hair, was on a white horse, and wearing fingerless gloves.
