I think it was that his mother, who claims to love and care for him, just destroyed everything he cared about and loved. He felt a full sense of abandonment and loneliness all as a result of the actions by the one person he should be able to trust and rely upon.

My biggest question is...what in the fricks are the Starks gonna say now that winter is upon us? "Winter is here" is what they said last night so I guess that's it?

Her first words about Jon were definitely "his name is ...". It was very muffled but seemed like multiple syllables, some people seem to think an R was involved but I haven't went back and rewatched it yet.

The death count was a lot higher than I expected. You have to think most people in that Sept were Lords and Ladies. Kevan Lannister was in their as well.

Dany has to have some type of real conflict when she lands

I don't know if it is or isn't, but I would guess he is named after his father, Rhaegar. Having this name would reveal to Ned that Lyanna was not raped as Robert lied and proclaimed; she had indeed chosen to go with Rhaegar and willfully had his child.

1.) GREAT EPISODE. fully errect the entire time

2.) although it was great, it couldve been edited and written way better. We spent 10 minutes watching Sam look at a library like a choclate donut but then at the end they named like 3 kings and queens within 10 minutes total time. Sam scene was totally worthless

3.) Did D&D forget that they did R+L=J in the episode? they completely ignored it in the post game commentary

also on that note, why the frick do D&D pronounce everyone on this shows name is some fricked up way? TOE-MON, LON-CELL, CER-SAY. Felt like they were just drunk this week

4.) Jons king in the North scene shouldve been the ender, not Danys fleet. Surprisingly no white walkers this week

5.) The opening scene was so epic. Beautiful pay off. I was getting a little impatient because of how long it was but it came out great

6.) Frey pie and arya is beautiful. Cant wait for the adventures of arya and Mel next season (totally called her being banished last week)

7.) they took a long way to do it but here comes Jamies redemption arc

8.) dany and daario scene is just as lame as the sam scene. we couldnt have shoved those two scenes in two episodes ago?
