Ok well Dany has been the endgame Queen since the beginning of the story, so I don't know how that's a political statement.
Cersei is going to be dethroned and killed by Jaime within 7 episodes, and she's a fricking crazy psychopath. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of females in power
