ETA: Finally got to watch the episode last night.

So, the wildling bird warg dude is like the troublesome friend zone guy. I think his motivation is more about getting Ygrette lathered up and slick as a seal and getting his duck wet. Jon and Y are kind of Romeo and Julietish. Not sure if their love will overcome the outside forces. Seems like she is more willing to have him turn against his loyalties than she is to turn against hers.

I still don't get why the wildlings don't just keep moving south to get away from the walkers and soak up some sun...why do they have to attack the wall if they don't plan on returning to the North? I think Jon/Y somehow get the wildlings and night's watch to join up/truce...maybe the white walkers strike everyone in the midst of battle?

Sad Tyrion makes me sad. I wish he would get back to his bawdy and charming self. Honestly, Shae isn't all that great and I think Tyrion is keeping the kitty on a pedestal right now because she likes him...her attitude better shape up or our noble imp may wake up and give the moody whore the boot.

I don't think Tywin is being short sighted with Dany. Seriously, their forces and funds are spread all over Westeros trying to hang onto the iron throne. We know from Tyrion that there are a lot of outstanding debts owed. They can't go off to deal with the future threat and ignore the current one. And having Joffrey all paranoid and crying over it wouldn't help anything.

I see that a lot of you are getting tired of the Theon story, but I'm still digging the torture progression and thought it was pretty clever last night. I'm not sure if Theon will live or die, but if that isn't the point of what's going on, and how that will shape him, then I think its clearly a "getting to know you" about the sick bastards who are capable of the torture and their motives. If indeed it is the Boltons, and the torturer is acting at lord Bolton's command (the same one who just betrayed his liege lord by shipping off Jaime for his own benefit), then we know that Robb has serious problems in his ranks (including the disgruntled Carstarks) and that Bran/other bro are in serious danger. Interested to see what Lord Bolton will have to say at the Frey wedding.

Agreed, great dumper on Queen of the North. Agreed, her insta-marriage with Robb despite all the reasons against it and her shady writings raise some red flags. I hope Robb's story gets better/more exciting soon.

I was just upset that years ago when I tried to have a thread for the left wingers of politalk, the righties came in and went all crazy. Then when I tried again years later I was told you can't exclude people from the thread. Do I come in here with show discussion? No. I came to address a poster, then another, and now another.


My thread on this in the help board was whacked in less than five minutes. It's like a conspiracy. I just wanted a place for the people that belong to the party in power to talk on here.

I get the difference.

Also, the funniest thing ever, is that "readers post here for attention". Every post on this board is made in hopes others read it. Next funny thing, the posters who say that the most, have over 100,000 posts.


GOT GTG at Finn McCools in a few weeks, after the show has aired, all questions Show only trivia, no book info. Some of y'all should come.

The discussion should resume now, talking about the show that many of us deem the best on TV.
