Stannis is convinced had Melisandre been at Blackwater, they would've won the battle.
Sir Bravos' timing is impeccably bad - "leave Red Bitch at home", Stannis listens, then Stannis' army gets crushed
.
What was Melisandre's next move? I forget what he plan was when she left on the boat a few episodes ago.
And Stannis' wifey is all in on this Lord of Light stuff too - weird. How did Melisandre come to be part of his council in the first place?
The night is dark and full of terrors...

I agree. Sansa herself is insanely boring, but the story around her is one of the most interesting. All sides want control over her because they think she is the only way to the gain the north if Robb dies.
While Sansa is older, both Jon Snow and Bran and Arya are more fit to lead the North

I think this has something to do with keeping the dead babies around. My guess is she did some kind of weird ritual to make another child, but it was a girl, and that's how the daughter's face got messed up.

You have to wonder if Jamie ever explained the story he just told Brienne to Ned, or anyone else for that matter.
no, bc Brianne cut in and said, "If what you say is true, why didn't you tell Ned" and he went into some blabbering about it wouldn't have mattered bc Ned had already made his mind up about Jamie. Don't quote me. Although it would be a good idea for one of us to go back and watch that scene with the captioning on and quote exactly what he said.

Yeah I think he's full of shite because regardless of whether Ned would have believed him, he could have told his story and got his name cleared a long time ago. But he chooses this moment in the tub to come clean? Pretty convenient timing because Brienne said she still didn't trust him right before he told the story.

Sansa is the most boring character, followed by Snow. They both have the personalities of dead people.
It seems like their story lines have been more obvious buildup (Sansa) and character development (Snow), and nothing ever gets accomplished.
I'd like to see some dividends paid on their investments to the grand scheme of the show, but it hasn't really happened.

Jamie could be lying about that whole scenario with the Mad King, it's too soon for me to just believe whatever he says and take it at face value. I have a sneaking suspicion he's going to kill Brienne. He gained that one young prisoner's trust and seemed all nice, only to strangle the poor kid
dammit, that is true

Wasn't that kid also related to Jamie? Seems like I remember several people (including me) talking about him "killing his cousin" before.

Sansa is older than Jon Snow? No way, huh?

Your posts automatically irritate me, because of your avatar. If I ever enagage you, assume I'm on mobile.
Also, someone may have said it in the other thread. Dany's dialogue is appropriate for a 12 yr old- which she was written for originally in the books. Not a 22 yr old grown woman. I think that's where the irritation comes from.

Yeah, I originally wrote that comment for Bran and Arya, but added Snow without checking my wording.
Basic premise is: Jon Snow, Bran, Arya>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sansa

Jon Snow - Bastard. Presumably he wouldn't be able to inherit. Also a member of the Nightswatch, so he's taken the oaths and foresworn any right he would have, anyway. Right?
Bran - "dead", at least that's what everyone thinks. Also a cripple.
Arya - young girl, missing, presumed dead.
So Sansa would be the only logical choice.

Yes, he is. I've got my pitchfork ready.

I'm pretty sure he has only read the first book, so he has no real knowledge of future events.
Posted on 4/30/13 at 2:52 pm to Salmon
I've wondered about him before based on things he's said, but then he just said "she's written in the books that way.." so I wanted to ask him directly. If so, then he's in the wrong thread.

Also, about the subtitles, on Cox you hit Settings and go up to subtitles and switch it to the "Yes" column. On something ot her than Cox, I'm not sure...but that should work though.
I'm not even sure how to get to settings. Walk me through I'm an illiterate damnit!
