No idea I'm not a reader. But they left from where Ramsay had Theon and Roose said he had to smuggle himself back into his own land or w/e so I assume it was in the north.

He is such a minor character that not many people remember or care where he was at. They have rolled a few characters into one with Locke on the show. He is mainly based off of the character Vargo Hoat but GRRM insisted that the show change his name because he was nothing like Hoat to him

In the Show he left from the Dreadfort after Roose told him to go hunt down the Stark Boys.

Either way, he did seem to make pretty good time.

He is kind of a different character for the show. He replaces two other characters in many ways.

He left the Dreadfort to go to the wall. The dreadfort isn't that far of a ride from the wall.

I'm just going to kill this theory now: no Margeary's necklace wasn't poisoned.

Do the books say anything about what Daeny does with these cities after leaving them?

Yes they say a lot about it, I'm guessing the show will touch on it pretty soon now that she's taken Meereen so I won't spoil it

Does she install her own people into positions of power? The city where she first got the unsullied seems like the only one that was semi-destroyed.

A lot, many readers felt they spent too much time on it.

i'm pretty good with all the characters but i copped ( a couple of pages ago) to not knowing/remembering who karl was.

even the guy that does the recap on grantland said that karl killed mormont. i knew that rast did that. and was reminded in this thread that karl actually killed craster.

that episode is one of the few i've only watched once.

Yes, quite a lot actually. However, I can't say anything here without spoiling.

And props to all the other readers who are keeping things clean in here.

No, that was something that an old seer said to Arya when she was with Beric Dondarrion. She was cut out of the show and replaced by Melisandre so we didn't get the prophecies.

I don't think margary's necklace had poison on it. i think granny was just playing with margary's necklace to drop a hint as to how joffrey died.

^this^

She was talking about Joffrey's death when she adjusted Margery's necklace, this was done as a visual queue to the audience that Olenna had plotted with Baelish to kill Joffrey. He supplied the poison and she did the deed.

Sansa's removal was as much to keep fingers from pointing back at the two of them as was Dontos' murder. Yes, her leaving makes her a prime suspect but had she stayed the necklace could have led to LF/Olenna.
