Cersei and Robert had no children.

don't be an arse, this thread has been really good about not revealing spoilers
WTF? I don't know anything. It's just pure speculation.

And my watch in this thread has ended. I think we have a few people who are actually doing what I'm accused of doing.
Seeya.

I don't believe you, there is no way your last two post are based on anything you have seen on the show or thur the first 3 books. If you just guessed, you are really smart, but you should delete those posts.

Remember the whole "RA, don't reply" thing? Yeah, frick you very much, too.

I've only read about 1/3 of the first book (if that).
I've seen spoilers (particularly the Red Wedding and its immediate aftermath), on other issues, which I have specifically not posted or referenced in any thread. However, I've speculated that Snow is the child of Rhaegar and Lyanna, in real time, before I ever read Page 1. As far as the other stuff - that is related speculation. I am really smart. However, I have removed those references out of caution.

No problem - the last thing I want to do is spoil anything.

GoT Season 3 "Middle Ground" Thread - Now with Theories ***Mild Spoilers***

I agree. He's a liar. There is literally NO WAY he could get that strictly from the show.

Given the change in the course of the discussion, I have added the following update to the thread OP and adjusted the thread title.
eta: Of course, I haven't looked at the thread since lunch, but based on the posts immediately preceeding this one I may need to examine things more.

The thread has started getting into some theories, but they so far appear to be based on things shown on the show, from the DVD extras, or contained within the books up to this point. Therefore, I see no major problem with it. I have upped the threat level in the thread title from "very mild" to "mild" spoilers out of precaution.
The nonreaders have started a Theory thread and there is off course the reader's Crackpot thread, I guess this will naturally become the Middle Ground Crackpot Thread.

It appears the post that caused some discord has been removed. I advise anyone who quoted that post or related posts which indicate its content be edited as well to remove any trace of the potentially offending material. Again, I don't know what was posted, just that some people got their feathers rustled, but you managed to resolve it on your own.

Watch it blue, I didn't post anything. Plus, not even the readers know if this "theory" has any validity to it at all. Almost all of the basis for the theory comes from events in the first book, which has always been fair game in this thread.
I can't be in here watching things all the time. I do have real patients with real problems whom I have to see every once in a while when I can't avoid it.

I'm confused...so can we talk about that in here or not, because the speculation comes mostly from reading book 1 and that dream sequence was left out the show?

All I see is another spoiler monkey - not named me - passing through the net.

Blueboy likes the flame wars, just ignore him. He's tried before to create fighting in this thread among the readers and nonreaders over what amounts to nothing. I have been doing serious stuff all day and had to reorient myself to the ways of TD.
Book 1 stuff is fine, plus no one knows the truth anyway. For all we know, Hodor is Jon's father. Just don't incorporate later book info into the discussion.

Hodor!!!
God I really want him to play a bigger part as the series goes on.

You're free to not believe me. Whatever.
In any event, the butthurt level rises so quickly in these threads, even this "middle ground" thread - I don't think ya'll will have to worry about me any longer. When I catch up to the readers, I'll catch up with the readers.
Peace out.
