Both he and Littlefinger can't be bested. Actually, almost perfect casting and acting except for this bothersome character.

I do not imagine Aiden Gillen when reading the books. He's not attrocious casting, but it's enough to be slightly jarring. I imagine more this with a Mark Hamill type of voice:

He's nowhere near as terrifying as he should be.

The real Crow's Eye has ridden the Valyrian seas, presumed missing north of the Wall, and fighting (and bedding)in Essos alongside the Dragon Queen. Terribly misused indeed.

I feel like the Lannisters as a whole are really well cast.

Tyrion is uglier than in the show, but yeah, they're impeccably well cast. I more imagine Charlize Theron as Cersei, but Lena Heady is fantastic.

too big of a star IMO. It would just be too much. The best parts of these great shows are the great actors who make a name for themselves.

well, if they wanted book looks, they would have got this guy with a blonde wig

Thankfully, we got a much better actor.

My least favorite casting would probably be the mountain. The first one looked the most like the Mountain I envisioned but the second one was way too skinny and the third one is way too young.

Also, the 2nd Dario seemed off to me.

I don't think he meant literally, I just as far as the evil beauty. In the books Cersei is like the most beautiful woman in the world. Lena doesn't command that, but she is a great actrss

That's pretty close to how I imagine him when reading.

The second, despite starting to read the books at the time, I didn't register that that was Gregor Clegane. He was simply not intimidating whatsoever.

Great observation. She would've been wonderful as Cersei, but I've got to give props to Headey. She's played it remarkably.

Conan Stevens was easily the best Mountain. Shame they couldn't retain him. The current mountain was horrible in the Viper fight.

Hend: It's Jon Snow. I just can't stand him. I'll probably catch a lot of flack, but they could've picked a much better match. He's irritating (especially knowing that the beautiful and powerful Mother of Dragons has taken a fancy to this weak character.)

It may be the writing, but I just cringe when he's on the screen with his holier-than-thou pompous shiznit kicks into high gear.

Compare Euron to other villains like Joffrey and Ramsay. They were tremendous, great acting. Euron fricking sucks. Absolutely terrible actor.

Daenys has been a lot better this season, and played the part of an innocent in season 1 pretty well... but wasn't up to the task in most of the seasons in between.

Ser Jorah really should have been a much physically bigger man than was cast, but has otherwise played his part very well.

The Mountain is probably the hardest person to cast in GOT but I share the belief that the first mountain was the best of the bunch. The armor they used for Ser Robert this season also did him no favors - it greatly diminishes his physicality.

Overall there have been a lot more hits than misses with the casting. Tyrion, Jaime, Varys, Stannis, Olenna, Margery, Bron, Barristan, the Hound, Ned, Lysa, Robin, Arya, Brienne, the Red Priestesses, and Rob were all very well cast.
