"The fact that some people were so disappointed is because everything before that was so good," van Houten said of the previous, highly-rated seven seasons.

She frickin’ admitted the ending was lousy in this damn quote.

There's no more product to sell, and she's just hitting back at that the consumer base that is shitting on her.

The joke's going to be on them when the "Snyder Cut" confirms exactly why WB kicked Snyder off and hired Whedon to do reshoots. Imagine thinking Zack Snyder is a competent storyteller.

Do we actually agree on something? Snyder is garbage. Justice League was bad, but Snyder’s will inevitably be worse

And they expect their opinions on politics to matter more than everyone else's

She didn't offer an opinion on politics. Saying fans of a TV show are ungrateful has nothing to do with politics. The fact that you think this opinion is related to politics makes me think that you should relinquish your right to a vote.

this chick?

No, it's obviously cheap publicity whoring. They had five spinoffs planned. All have been shelved. Ingratitude wasn't the reason.

No, she isn’t.

Plenty of people hated the last season well before the final episode. There was a significantly noticeable drop in quality of the writing, character development, storylines, etc from the very beginning. The people that didn’t defended it early on completely jumped ship by the second to last episode for the most part.

The acting and visual effects all remained top notch throughout, and I’ve never seen anyone say otherwise.

People that trot out the “people were always going to be disappointed” and “you can’t please everyone” defenses are hiding behind false equivalencies and just aren’t being realistic about how terrible the entire last season was. The best defense you’ll find of it is “I didn’t think it was that bad” and even that’s an extreme minority opinion.

Compare that to seasons 1-6, where the opposite is true and anything other than overwhelmingly positively reviews are the minority opinion.

This statement can easily be construed as political. Unwad your pantries.

Yes, I'm sure I'm the one who needs to unwad my panties, not the people yelling at a Danish actress for having an opinion about the show she was in.

You just said she didn’t offer an opinion on politics when it’s pretty obvious she did. Keep moving the goalposts looking for a gotcha though, I’m sure you’ll find one eventually.

She's right about the petition people being crazy.

I mean, damn, it's a TV show.

Dan and Dave fumbled on the goal line, and fans had every right to expect better.

Problem was, Dan and Dave had no clue what they were doing. As long as Martin was holding their hands and feeding them story and character development, they were fine. But he stopped writing, the show went on w/ the story, Dan and Dave were admittedly lost. They even said they faked their way into their jobs and were making it up on the fly.

Imagine trying to make something out of some throw away line about crazy people ruling the world, then telling someone else to “unwad your panties”. But that hypocrisy happens to be quite common with people on a specific side of our political spectrum.

By the way, maybe it’s just me, but damn I just noticed how much she looks like Alison Brie.
