Where do I find this streaming?

And to answer someone else’s question, I absolutely LOVED “The Last Airbender” miniseries on Netflix a couple years ago.

Bro they are all pretty weird even the great Miyazaki films.

Are you looking for something like The Boondocks?

TV:

Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Yu Yu Hakusho (if you like Shonen)
Devilman Crybaby (only if you like disturbing, violent stories)
Rurouni Kenshin

Movies:

Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Magnetic Rose (from Memories collection)

Very dark/violent movies:

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Ninja Scroll (not for faint of heart)
Wicked City (DEFINITELY not for faint of heart)

its got strong western themes and vibe to it so its not a strong culture shock as some others for a westerner to start with. Solid animation quality, kick arse sound track, good characters.

its a succinct series with about 25 episodes with not a ton of reliance from episode to episode. So its easily consumable. its not like some other series that are literally hundreds, or thousands of episodes long.

i think it is currently streaming on netflix. i havent watched through it in a few years and was quit literally thinking the other night i was overdue for one.

Dragon Ball Z is the obvious answer. Its the most popular anime of all time for a reason.

Netflix, also check hbo for any of the studio ghibli movies.

really i watched studio ghibli movies first then got into the other stuff

And as far as cowboy bepop goes, there is the animated series, the animated movie, then the kind of shitty live action series. And i do think they are all on netflix rt now.

Someone really likes dragon ballz.

If thats all you mentioned you didnt get a downvote.

My question about dragon ball would be, we were kids when watching that. Is it a childrens show or not really? i just remeber it being popular along with pokemon.

If you can find it anywhere, it's a great, one season watch.

I swear if Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 - Part 2 is not the real end, I’m going to lose it.

Checkout some movies first to see if it hooks you.

Ninja Scroll
Akira
Vampire Hunter D
Are good OG anime movies to get you into it.
